If I somehow manage to get two points per day again, it will move me up to the next level which is Gold. If so, would I receive the perks during this cruise?
That would be nice but new Latitude points are added to your account After your cruise.

Inside final payment you have two choices.
1) Pay the cancelation fee based on how many days your inside final payment, or
2) Turn the vinegar into honey and enjoy your cruise vacation.

And the NCL.com homepage says it ends on Monday! 🤣 Imagine my surprise! Have we learned nothing people? NCL can and will change prices whenever their business strategy demands it. "Sale expiration" dates mean absolutely nothing unless the entire price calculation is considered. It's a shame that folks have travel agents who don't understand this. Just track the pricing on NCL.com and you'll know the answer in less time than it takes to call your TA.
I'll happily take Monday over Tuesday and no I'm not dumping my TA's.

Interesting but not altogether helpful to the OP.
Helpful is ........Nobody wants to be on hold for 2 hours with Princess. This is Princess.
Get a TA who picks up your call and brings customer service.
Hello anybody home.......not hard to understand.

One of the reasons I only use a Travel Agent.

The Sky deck above your room would be the issue with pool loungers, chairs, drink tables being moved around at all times.
Also if your close to the front on the Sun deck you would be below the Sanctuary that would be a big red flag.

Is anyone else cruising over Thanksgiving this year or cruised over past Thanksgivings? This will be my first year onboard and I'm wondering what to expect. It will be a bit strange not doing our usual family gathering, but it will be nice not having to worry about anything and just relax and enjoy the day. Are there any special activities that take place? I did see this special Thanksgiving dinner menu posted and it looks delicious. I'm happy I can still get a traditional meal onboard. I appreciate any insights you can share from your experience.
Like Joe would say......."two words".
Lot's of kid's.

The links Princess provided are not yet updated for the October 21 changes.
To some extent, I am not happy about these changes.
We have not cruised since cruise lines resumed voyages last year. Even with all the testing and protocols in place, Covid was still spreading on many voyages and not just on Princess sailings.
But a few months ago we booked a cruise on Princess for late December, confident that the requirements in place at the time we made the booking would be the best practices for limiting opportunities for contracting the virus on our cruise.
Covid has not disappeared and the best medical predictions show a concern for a resurgence later this year for a variety of reasons (new varieties, lack of mask wearing when appropriate, people spending more time indoors in the northern hemisphere, schools resuming in-person classes, many people not fully vaccinated and/or without booster shots, etc.).
So the cruise we signed up for with the assurance that at least 90% of passengers would be fully vaccinated (completed initial series of injections), interacting crew would be masked, all passengers would be tested within three days of the start of the cruise, etc. is now a cruise with an unlimited number of unvaccinated and untested people and no masking requirements at all for passengers or the crew they encounter.
You waited way to long and now see what happens? Should have got after it 14 months ago.

Above the Vista lounge is a no way, especially towards the aft of the Vista is where the live entertainment is located.
Keep your Penthouse suite.

"Great view of the wake. But it had no shade when the sun was high in the sky".
We had a balcony once upon a time without a some sort of shade cover and for that reason alone would pass on this aft cabin.

Any updates from your Friday doctor appointment?

Great review, thank you!

What's good for the passengers is now finally good for the crew.
Expect a happier experience for all.

Captain's noon announcements included that masks are now optional for the crew. Very fresh since they were still wearing this morning. Too soon to report how many are doffing them versus how many keeping them.
Was reported here earlier Princess was to begin lifting crew masks on 10/27, with the captains announcement appears Regal is starting early.
My last cruise in August on NCL passengers wearing masks were about 10%. I feel the crew will be heading that way soon.

I've been a bit of a new cruise ship sailor but recently went on the NCL Star that was 22 years old and absolutely love it. Kind of made me reconsider the older ship if they are well maintained, plus the older ships typically better itinerary's. Maybe it's the Carnival thing.

What is your deal breaker?
Laundry is not something we equate being a higher end rewards perk.
Something more couples memorable such as 2 speciality dinners for 2 along with a bottle of wine, plus a wines around the world tasting, along with a behind the scenes tour all offered by NCL.
They also include comp laundry service along along with a few other appreciated perks.

Fingers crossed they don't eliminate that perk, too.
For me, far from a deal breaker

Best possible way to sail is to find a person who is on a casino comp cruise offer to get ALL your alcohol drinks at the casino and only order water/coffee/soda as an exception at the pool deck only if you must.
For gratuities cancel them right away when you get on board and wifi I usually knock on my neighbour's door and ask if they are using all their devices as wifi you can use multiple devices, you can piggy back off someone's device for free.
This way you are essentially eliminating $50/day all together, I am amazed people aren't doing this more often as I feel far superior and smarter doing these tips.
😜 Now that's putting the pencil plus to the princess........😘
