  1. I just had a go-around on this yesterday. Initially booked in Feb. 2016 for March 2017 and chose 2 perks... $300 OBC and Classic Bev. Made my final payment in October and noticed price had dropped. Celebrity offered to upgrade me to the 4 perks now including upgrade to Premium. Confirmation came thru and I didn't pay attention until I read this string of Posts. Checked it before holiday and yep, still indicated I had Classic. Called them yesterday and Rep said I had all 4 perks but it still showed Classic 'for some reason.' He said he updated info and would resend confirmation showing breakdown for all 4 perks. Got confirmation and still showed Classic. Called back again Rep said it shows correct on invoice on their end and to 'try back in few days to get another updated confirmation and see if it goes thru.' Frustrating. Next time I book with a Travel Agent. Live and learn.

  2. First X cruise Mar 4 2017, Reflection.

Sorry folks this must have been asked a thousand times but I cannot find a thread.

Is there a link to Bar Menus ?

Are Bar Menus the same in all Bars / MDR / Specialty ?

Trying to evaluate Classic Bev package. Seadog posted an Opus menu in his excellent Reflection review and only one cocktail and one glass of wine would fit $8 or less.

Related question - we both have Classic Bev perk can I upgrade to Premium and DW stay with Classic ? Looks like Classic options are limited so we probably will both upgrade.

We are on the same cruise and have a roll call set up if you haven't joined it yet. Can't wait!

  3. Just off Breakaway on 5/15 and have same experience. With the exception of one or two, extremely friendly and hard working crew! We were treated so well, but then again we engaged everyone in conversation, and a little of that goes a long way toward receiving great service. They truely want to make your vacation a great experience, no need to be rude to the crew but we witnessed many ignorant people doing just that. We had a great cruise!

  4. My husband and I were on this same sailing. It was our first NCL cruise. We had a very enjoyable time, the weather was perfect and we found the crew to be very accommodating and friendly. These folks work very hard to try and please. I would go back to Bermuda in a heartbeat! Lovely!

  5. We did Coco Reef in September and it was $60 pp and well worth it. We are going back in May and doing a catamaran snorkel/swim. Booked it directly with the company versus going thru cruise line and saved about $35. I love have the ship docked and being able to come and go as you please. Looking forward to playing a round of night time glow in the dark mini golf at Fun Golf right at Kings Wharf after dinner on the ship. It's a lot of fun if you have a group!

  6. We are scheduled to cruise on Breakaway in May and currently have an inside cabin booked on the 11th floor. We are thinking we may upgrade to a balcony as we just finished a cruise on RCCL Liberty of the Seas and had a balcony and enjoyed having the view. But sounds like the inside won't be bad should we decide to keep. This is going to be only my second cruise so I don't have much to compare, but I'm curious as to the different experience we may have between RCCL and NCL.

  7. We were on same sailing on the 19th. As this was my first cruise and I have nothing to compare it too, I thought the whole experience was great. I thought the crew very friendly and accommodating in every way, especially our waiters in MDR and room attendant. Found the heat and humidity a little tough in Bermuda but really loved our time there. We sort of did our own thing and walked around Hamilton and some how made it up to Fort Hamilton in that heat but the view was worth the effort! Have a cruise planned back to Bermuda in May but this time on NCL out of Manhatan so will be interesting to compare the two experiences. I am thankful we left on 19th and not this coming weekend with the hurricane approaching!

  8. Sorry if this has already been posted on a forum, but I am new to this site (as of today) and trying to figure it all out. First time cruiser here for our 10th anniversary sailing to Bermuda in Sept. on RCCL Liberty of the Seas. Are we able to pre-book on-board shows prior to sailing using Cruise Planner? I keep trying to go on, but keep getting message say "sorry you need to book on board" and wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or you truly cannot pre-book? The only thing it appears I can book is fee-based activities? Keeping our fingers crossed the Atlantic stays storm-free as well! So excited to cruise and visiting Bermuda! Thanks, everyone! :)
