Our flight is at 11:55 AM. Any chance Port Valet will accept and allow us to use the service?

What are the food options at the Cafe on the Zuiderdam? We realize its not as extensive as the International Cafes on Princess. Thanks,

Where does HAL usually dock in Quebec City? I'm seeing conflicting info re: it either being piers 21, 22 or 30. Zuiderdam in September. The official port schedule does not specify a pier at this point. Thanks,

Looking at the HAL D61 9/14 cruisetour, which includes the bus from Denali to Whittier. Last time we did this itinerary on Princess, we took the train. I thought I read the bus is quicker then the train, but I just phoned HAL and they had very little info to offer, but said the bus takes 10 hours! That's an awfully long time on the bus and their must be lots of stops and a layover some where.
Does anyone know the precise bus itinerary and schedule for this trip? Very little info on the HAL website. Yes, I know the train is better, but we are looking at this particular tour for a number of reasons.
Thanks!

We've done this excursion many times on Princess and haven't been disappointed. We were considering doing it again on a May cruise, but seem to remember reading some where that the quality and quantity of the food had really diminished. Anyone have any opinions or recent visits? Thanks,

I have most of the guides as pdf files.
If you post your email address (eg name at site dot com) I can send to you.
Do you happen to have the pdf files for Loreto and La Paz, BC? jeff@pulverman.org
Thanks!

Does the water taxi operate midweek in March?

Which is the best itinerary? New Orleans RT or New Orleans to Memphis one way? Thanks,

Can't find a clear answer. With regard to the revised covid protocols, is a covid pre-boarding test required for an Alaska round trip cruise from Seattle with the usual stop in Victoria? Or is the testing requirement indicated for Canada just for Alaska cruises embarking/disembarking in a Canadian port? Thanks,

American Queen, Viking or American Cruise Lines? Looking at New Orleans to Memphis itinerary. Which cruise line and ships do you recommend? Thanks,

Suddenly, I can not read responses to a topic I posted. When I click on the link under "notifications" it says I am not allowed to view this topic. Also, it says I can not send messages: "this feature is disabled". Whats going on? I have a valid account without restrictions. I thought. 🙂 Thanks,

I used CVS last week for a PCR. I don’t have an account with them. They texted me a link I could download from for 5 days. I did not agree to them making the results widely available to any provider that might be taking “care” of me, so I think that might be “myChart”. (I firmly subscribe to the “minimum necessary” standard in medical records.) 😁
How long did it take you to get the results? My fear is the results won't arrive in time. I know it depends on demand, but I'm sure there are lots of factors which could cause delays. CVS and Walgreens no longer to rapid antigen testing in our area.

First time on HAL (Eurodam) coming up on April 30. Been on other cruise lines. Cabin Veranda 6162 looked to be in a good location (we like toward the aft for quiet). Anyone have any thoughts or info on this particular cabin? Thanks!

Our cruise is 4/30 and I am trying to use the Verifly app. All went well until I got to the part to "Complete Your Checklist" wherein it seems to want me to upload proof of COVID vaccination. However, it doesn't seem to be any sort of link or method for me to upload the documents. Is it too early to do so?

It is sounding like we are a day early, our cruise starts April 17. Rumor has it that the CDC’s short term renewal of the travel mandates to April 18 will likely be the end of the current set of mandates. Maybe we will get lucky and not have to have a test to go home
I can't find a reference to the April 18 date. Could you elaborate on that (wonderful) rumor you mention about the CDC ending the mandates for cruise travel? Just really curious. Thanks,

Excuse the redundancy, but I can't find if HAL changed to the 3 day window for covid testing for embarking passengers. If not, why haven't they changed to the 3 day window?

With regard to testing, why was self-certification testing via approved at-home testing kits (non-supervised) not considered or considered and not allowed? I'm sure a methodology with real enforceable penalties for fraud could be developed. Just wondering....

Thanks! I hadn't heard of the 80% cap. That's good to know and reasonable to expect.

IIRC, Gus said it starts at 50% and works up to 80%. If the Sailing you're interested in is showing Inside Rooms available, good chance it'll be 80%, JMO.

Nobody knows. Is there s capacity that is too high for you?
The lower capacity is one of the factors attracting us to this cruise. But since its toward the end of the cruise season, I'm thinking it might be close to capacity by that point.
-
I know the NA is starting out at about 50% capacity, but does anyone have more definitive information on what it might cap out at this year? Seems doubtful they would get to 100%. Looking at the 9/18 sailing and wondering what the capacity cap will be for that cruise. Thanks!

Just curious, are people awaiting for 2022 Alaska cruises because of personal reasons unrelated to covid? Or are their significant concerns about the safety of going on an Alaska cruise in 2021, even though the cruises are for vaccinated passengers and crew only? We've had concerns about the safety, even though we've obviously been vaccinated, but are still considering a 2021 Alaska cruise. We thought we'd await to see how a few cruises go and then decide, even though that will leave us with slim choices.

Considering a Caribbean cruise on the Reflection next March. I know its not scientific, but all the youtube videos make it look very crowded. This will be our first time on Celebrity (usually do Princess) and we can always find a quiet outdoor location. Is there such a location on the Reflection? Any other thoughts on the ship? Thanks!

I thought the cut-off was noon and their web site confirmed it. I understand that they have to set a time. 😌
