I think I will have an extra Jewel after October.  I have an extra Ovation now.

Make sure no knife on corkscrew as RC will send you to the naughty room and take corkscrew.

How is the library on Ovation?  I am especially asking about the free exchange of books.  We always bring a few with us and exchange them.  We are doing a B2-B2-B and plan to do some reading especially on the TransPacific from Sydney to Hawaii.

Any experience with cabin 6580?

I just got my guarantee cabin assignment for a cruise April 20, 2020 on Ovation of the Seas.

Please add me to the list of wanting an Ovation block.  I goofed up on my planning for getting the Ovation while on Transatlantic.  I will be getting a Jewel of the Seas instead.  😨

We purchased black out curtains with grommets and hung them from ceiling with the magnetic hooks.  No problem with TV lights when I wanted to sleep and he wanted to read or watch TV.

How is the library.  We always bring a couple of extra books to exchange ... on the last few RC cruises books were pratically non-existant.

We are taking black out curtains with us.  If you purchase strong magnets and attach to steel ceiling they are reported to hold.  So we didn't spend an arm and a leg we purchased ours at a thrift store.

I read this tip on Cruise Critic and this is the first time we are trying it.

We are just back from a cruise from Barcelona. We stayed at the Catalonia Port Hotel for three days prior to our cruise. I would definitely stay there again. It's a few blocks from Las Ramblas and the waterfront. Very conveniently located. The staff was friendly, the room very clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. We loved it.
