  1. We did blue lagoon island in Nassau and it was just okay. I felt it cost a lot for what it was. We just did the island and did not swim with the Dolphins. We were first time cruisers and getting off in the port without an excursion booked was very overwhelming.

  2. Some lines simply do not allow door decorations, and the stewards are instructed to remove them. Best to check with your TA, Cruise Critic threads, or even your steward when you arrive to be sure about decorating. Disney will only allow magnets. Some line have wood doors which will only take poster putty or 3M hangers to hang decorations.

     

    Since Princess already decorates cabin doors for guests celebrating special occasions, I've always taken that as an okay to decorate as long as it does not damage or leave residue on the door. Also, never bring anything that you will miss if stolen or defaced.

     

    Changing out decorations from day to day is fairly quick using magnets. On my Panama Canal cruise in March, my steward even wanted the decorations on the last day which I gladly gifted to him.

    It was carnival they allowed it and other doors were done. I am sure it was a guest doing it.
