We are on board May 11 to 25. The computers were down at Vancouver terminal so it was a bit of a nightmare. Ship looks good and clean. Got to feel for the crew as the Medallion app is a bit of a joke. You really cannot use it for much of anything. The internet has not been too bad better in some areas then other. Works pretty good in the room though.
I would do a live from but sounds like work does it not. Any easy stuff I will try to answer. It is wonderful not to have crowded elevators. And one of the Dinning rooms is closed. But not a problem as we dine at 7pm and can get seated right away. ????

I've found this buried on the Princess website but still not much detail and no indication of fares as yet.
"Highlights of the new winter program include:
Six short getaway cruises from Brisbane and Sydney – perfect seacations for those with busy schedules.
Five 7-day Queensland roundtrip cruises from Brisbane, sailing to Cairns, Port Douglas, and Airlie Beach (for the Whitsundays).
A new 7-day New South Wales Coast roundtrip from Brisbane, with a maiden call to Eden (Sapphire Coast), Sydney, and Newcastle.
A new 12-day Queensland and New South Wales voyage, sailing roundtrip from Brisbane.
A new 12-day Queensland and the Conflict Islands voyage, roundtrip Sydney or Brisbane, crossing the Coral Sea to visit the stunning and remote Conflict Islands in Papua New Guinea."
The full article can be read here: https://www.princess.com/news/news_releases/2022/03/princess-cruises-announces-new-fleet-deployment-plans-through-april-2023.htmlI read that these cruises go on sale on March 24th

As far as I can recall, yes. My daughter mentioned Bellini's bar menu had more expensive beverages, but I haven't visited it yet.
Thank you for that. I would love to see a menu from Bellini's if you manage to get there.

That about wraps it up but no complaints as long as they do the cooking and cleaning for me for a few days.😁
The could take us out & sail around in circles for a week & we would be happy 🛳️😁

I hope so, we are booked for the 17/2 🤞
We are booked on her in March but supposed to be going to Queensland. Not sure that will happen as they are talking Intrastate cruises from Sydney only

From earlier today:
GREG HUNT: Sure. So, under the Biosecurity Act, we currently have four determinations for outbound travellers, for inbound travellers, for cruise ships, and for retail.
I have now revoked the duty free, or international airport retail order. So, as of today, duty free is back on. So, that biosecurity determination order has been repealed.
The next one that we’re reviewing is cruise ships. We are working with the states and territories and the chief health officers. You need a double green light to restart the cruise ship industry, and that is a Commonwealth order, which is lifted.
We’re reviewing that right now, precisely on the basis of the 90 per cent plus first vaccination rate and the 83 per cent second vaccination rate. And so, I expect to be able to make a decision on cruise ships in the coming weeks once we’ve got the medical information but it will require at least one state or territory to partner on that.
But we’re working with a number of states and territories, we’ll let them make their own considerations. But, we would like to see cruising back on before Christmas.
Cruises before Christmas, he's dreaming🤪
I think we all need to write to our Federal & State Health & Tourism ministers to put our case. The more emails they get the more they might actually start to act.

It’s been very difficult to post to cruise critic (it’s much easier to post on instagram and twitter where I’m posting under the same username if you’d like to check it out). Here I go again…
We enjoyed our first time at Princess Cays. We just relaxed on a lounge chair and got in the beautiful water a couple times. It was so hot today! And we’re from South Florida! When we decided we were done in the sun, we tendered back to the ship and sat down for some pizza at Alfredo’s. Delicious! My husband is worn out from the sun and taking a nap, while I’m reading (not so much since I keep trying to post this to cruise critic) and enjoying a glass of wine in Vines!
Hi there
Would love to see a wine menu from Vines if that is possible?
Also from the MDR
Thanks & enjoy

Australian Cruise Ships Update - 21st November 2021:
In this update I have again included the location of most of the Aussie fleet who was sailing from Australia during our session (when covid hit) or who might have seen down-under this year:
After completing her Alaska session Ovation of the seas is now back in warm layup, so we welcome her back to the list 🙂, scroll down to see where she is.
Cruise ships anchored off Limassol, Cyprus:
Pacific Explorer, Pacific Encounter, Diamond Princess and Island Princess, and 2 Seabourn cruise ships (One of the Seabourn ships Seabourn Sojourn has also gone for a sail) :
Sapphire Princess - Has gone for a sail of the coast of Limassol:
Voyager of the Seas - Anchored of Limassol, Cyprus:
She seem to be Anchored closer to town then the rest of the cruise ships.
Pacific Adventure - still docked at wet dock in Trieste, Italy:
Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor - Are still in Dubai, United Arab Emirates:
Carnival Spirit has been in to dry dock and have received her new paint job!
You can see her dry dock photos here: Carnival Spirit Drydock in Dubai, United Arab Emirates >
Radiance Of The Seas - Still docked in Cadiz, Spain.
Radiance Of The Seas has also been in to dry dock for a paint refresh. You can see her dry dock photos here: Radiance Of The Seas drydock in Cadiz, Spain >
Celebrity Solstice - Has left Singapore and headed to Honolulu and from there she is currently on her way to San Diego, California:
She is due in San Diego, California on Monday/Tuesday.
Celebrity Eclipse - Anchored off San Diego, California:
Royal Princess - Has left the USA and headed to Honolulu and from there she is currently on her way back to Singapore. Still unsure what she will do when she gets to Singapore and AIS do not even give a date on when she will arrive as this stage.
Coral Princess - Has left Port Everglades and is currently on her way to Gibraltar.
There is talk that she will be going in to dry dock in Europe.
Ovation of the Seas - Is currently of the coast of San Francisco and looks like she might be on her way back to Seattle, USA, according to her AIS.
I think Ovation of the Seas left her Seattle anchorage due to the weather around Seattle.
Seattle had 60mph winds this last week: https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/weather/weather-updates-heavy-rain-strong-winds-power-outages-and-flooding-expected-in-seattle-area/
Note: As the Emerald Princess has restarted sailing from the USA, she will no longer be include in the list.
Thank you for all the information.
I have just had a look at Cruise Mapper & according to that site Royal Princess is due to arrive in Singapore on December 1st.

Royal Princess seems to be heading to Singapore, does anyone know why? I can't find anything to suggest that it is going for a dry-dock.
From what I can see on the Princess site its next cruise is from Vancouver to Alaska next May.

The reason you have to "reapply every cruise" may be that you use a travel agent. If you are using a TA and he/she does not put in your Captain's Circle number then that is the reason you have to reapply. Your military benfit is linked to that number so it will not be there automatically if the TA doesn't link your number to your reservation. I don't know if scheduling cruises with Princess Australia works the same as Princess US for that feature or not, but you might check that. Of course, if you are scheduling your cruise on-line directly with Princess, I'd guess that's not the problem, but I thought I'd mention this anyway.
Tom
Thanks Tom I will definitely check that out next time we book. I had thought that it was being connected as out OBC from our Future cruise deposits go on automatically.
Many thanks for the advise

I am Aussie so treat this for what you will as it may be different in your part of the world.
I contacted my Cruise Coordinator by phone to check on some 'thing' related to my cruise.
When I mentioned my previously recognised Military Service she looked up my file history and 'linked it' so I shall never have to re-apply for the recognition again. It is 'attached' to any booking I make.
We are cruising next week, with my Military OBC ($250), our Future Cruise Deposit ($150 each) and a special offer from Princess ($100 each) we will enjoy $750 OBC.
As my drill Seargent said - never volunteer any information, however in this case I disagree. Volunteer your Service details and get some benefits back.
Thank you Princess and thank you all other Military Vets for your service.
Hi there
Just be a bit cautious & check that it gets applied to your next cruise. As with some of the others posting on this forum my husbands Military benefit is never automatically applied. We reapply every cruise & they assure us we won't have to do it again. Guess what next cruise nothing !!!!!
Good luck
Dianne
Grand Princess updates?

I did a search for the wine list on the grand princess main dining room but to no avail. I will keep looking.
As I understand it you could order a wine from Vines on the app while in the MDR & they would deliver. Is that not correct?
