Special Needs at Sea are wonderful about renting just about anything you might need. I rented a wheelchair, and total cost was 95$ for the whole 7 day cruise. As a plus, the wheelchair was waiting in my suite, and when the cruise is over, just leave it in the suite, they will pick it up. Easy peasy.

So, I have been fighting with gastric and liver cancer for a couple of years, and can't eat much more than a few bites at a time. Up until then we always enjoyed first night's dinner at the Steakhouse. I see no reason to have to pay for two when I can just eat a few bites from my husbands dishes.
Would be fine with my Hubby, and myself, but not sure about the Steakhouse, they might just think us cheap, as well as other passengers.
I would hate for my hubby to miss it, and myself too. What do you think? Should I contact the steakhouse ahead of time and advise them? I don't know what to do...

Looks good to me. Any time it is less than 100$ per person per day, it is good. WTG, enjoy your cruise!

On some ships, it will be a part of the Room Service listing. You can order it and have it delivered! We intend to. Yummy.

So happy to hear this news! Spirit class is my favorite, and maybe, just may be I will get to cruise on Miracle!

Call Special Needs at Sea, and you can rent a wheel chair, for about 100$ for a 7 day cruise. It will be in your cabin, when you get there, and you leave it in the cabin when you leave. Then call special needs and she can get a wheel chair assist to get aboard, and off, of course.
Very simple and worry free. Search for the number here, since I don't remember it right now..
Hope you all have a wonderful time.

We loved the sweet potato fries, and the regular fries. Well worth the money. We tried the pizza,, not so much, better from the Pizza Place.
Will be trying a few others come feb, especially the sushi from the sushi place.. love their sushi..

I book mine on my own, and keep a constant watch on the prices. If I need instant service, updates, price help, or changing in any way, I call my PVP. She is the BEST!! Scored a great deal on a huge balcony cabin after just enough price reductions to cover the cost.. worked out perfectly. Love my PVP.

Make sure whatever you wear it covers the backs of your legs. I snorkeled for about 30 minutes, and my upper legs were so burnt I could not sit down. Bright red and burnt for several days.
It was awful... Really, be careful.

WHAT?!?!?!?! :eek::mad:
I am truly baffled by this. How do you just demand someone else's seat?
Agreed, I would have died in that chair before I would have given it up to a demanding idiot.
LOL

I've stayed in this cabin (and the equals 8235 and 7299). The only difference between them is the furniture arrangement.
I much prefer 7299/8235 as I find the configuration of 8237 slightly "odd" but absolutely love the 9B cabin category. So much so I'm booked again in 7299 next October.
There can be the slightest of noise from above while in the cabin (nothing intrusive while on the balcony except the potential for noisy neighbors which hasn't happened yet) but nothing that was an inconvenience. Otherwise the cabin is quiet, cool, comfortable and (to me) spacious.
thank you, I was mostly concerned with late night noises from the Pizza place, good to know there isn't much..
-
I have read there are a couple of noise complaints about this cabin. I wonder if it is a big deal or not? Seems to me, a couple of complaints during the entire life of this ship isn't much. Love that larger balcony. Not a light sleeper, but don't want a really noisy cabin either. I know its under the Pizza place. Would the noise bother me on the balcony? We will be out there a lot. Just want some advice from others in this or cabins close to this one.

the Steward will not remove, nor fold nor slide the trundle under during the day. Once they set it up, it is set for the duration of your cruise. this goes for the couch into bed also. We had to dig the back of the couch out from under the bed every time we wanted to sit on it, and it was still made up..
We have had the room set up just like this, and my feet were under the desk, no problem. the trundle is way lower, and is only 6 inches off the floor.

Here's my secret, I just call a taxi service and head to the port when I wish. It is only about 20$ and tip for two with luggage, no need to wait for the shuttle and all cram on. I keep the taxi's phone number, and have used them on all 7 other trips from Charleston.

We just got off the Ecstasy, and had the Surf and Turf from the Steak house menu.. IT was terrific,, I will say it again, TERRIFIC.
Pretty sure they are 20$, but my sister was gifted with a Steak house Menu selection for two. I highly recommend it.

We just returned on the Ecstasy, and the menu was the old style. The food was great. Here's a heads up, my sister received a coupon for two Steak House Menu items, we both had the Surf and Turf, and it was terrific. Would have been worth the money, for sure, except we didn't have to pay.. lol
We enjoyed everything we ate.
We did see them setting up for the chef's Table, and it sure looked like everyone was enjoying it..
-
I would have taken it also. But, I have just become a member of the "I love Balcony's" club...

Here's a hint, be sure to put your food on the table or in the fridge. The ants will take it over if you leave it on the counter.
Ask me how I know.. lol
It was just perfect otherwise. Love the cabana's.

Watching the many, ever changing blue colors of the ocean. I don't care where I go, what I do, I love the ocean. HMC is awesome for ocean watching.
-
Crew deck, of course.

We were also in Cabana 10 and had a couple of servers drop by. not many, and not often. It was fine with us.. Had an excellent time on HMC..
-
Tervis cups on Ecstasy 09/03.. love them. Use them every day, they have the VIFP logo on them.
-
We had a terrific time. We were asked a thousand times if we were twins, and we were complimented many, many times.. It was a ton of fun.
HMC is wonderful, and I scored my favorite Cabana, Good old number 10. I will recommend you move the snacks to the table, ants took over our fruit and the good stuff.

I just returned from the Ecstasy. Yes, it was a 32 year old Lady. She jumped on purpose. Was fighting with her boyfriend or Mother. Very sad, we searched for 6 hours. I wish I had better news.
