Looks like the Miracle will get new menus starting March 5. Lots of backlash and seems like most people do not like it. Also lots of people seem frustrated that Carnival not listening to their feedback. What's going on there?

Are there any plans for Miracle to get the new menu? I thought they were rolling it out this year?

I find it hard to believe that the OP had such a hard time with the food unless they have severe food restrictions. Based on liking only cereal and turkey sandwiches, sounds like someone with a very limited or processed food palate and afraid to try new foods. Only been on RC once ages ago but there was definitely something for everyone. Last cruise was with Carnival and liked most of the food. Did she try the specialty restaurants? Some people will absolutely not eat outside their comfort zone and can't relax and enjoy what's on offer.

So it looks like both Miracle and Splendor will be going to China. Miracle in 2017 and Splendor in 2018. I wonder what will replace it? I hope there is a newer ship for longer West Coast sailings. maybe LA will get a refurbished Splendor before it goes to China. Cruise companies really need to look at promoting the West Coast more and get newer ships.

We'll be in these same two cabins in March 2016 with the kids. We picked it for the set up. Was there enough space in the cabin? I heard it doesn't have a couch, but chairs instead. Could you relax and lounge about? Also did you feel a lot of ship motion being that far forward.

Sounds like a good cruise overall. Hopefully the food will be upgraded with the new menu.
