We will be on MSC Poesia Sept/Oct and are wondering what the usual practice is for currency exchange. Most places use Euro, but we will need a few other currencies: Southampton, Istanbul, Copenhagen…. Do most people just put their incidental purchases on credit or debit cards in Europe, or use cash? I imagine we will need some cash, so is there a currency exchange on board, or how do you suggest we handle this?

We are about to book two back-to-backs on Poesia: Copenhagen - Genoa, and Genoa - Istanbul - Genoa. Is there much seating outside on the Poesia? I’ve seen photos/videos of the promenade deck but there doesn’t seem to be any seating there? Obviously there is the pool area & and the “mezzanine” deck around the pool on the next deck up, but is there anywhere else? Otherwise, are there many places inside where you can sit and watch the sea (other than your cabin)? A lot of the lounges seem to have the seating facing inwards, so are any (or many) places where the view is out to sea?
