Hi again. Just heard from daughter on Ventura. Apparently 2cases of virus found and disembarked in Gran Canaria. As mentioned Madeira will not allow Ventura to dock. Lots of people on board complaint as bus trip in Lanzarote the coach broke down and passengers had to sit in bus for 4hours! Daughter says the ship now going very fast so will be in Vigo before tuesday.

Our daughter and son in law were on waiting list for October 31st on Ventura. They have now been offered a superior deluxe balcony stateroom with £340 on board spend. They pleased as it is to celebrate first wedding anniversary and a birthday. But we do feel sorry for the ones who had their cruise cancelled due to children not being double vaccinated.

Our daughter and son.in law are going.on Ventura October 31st. One of the stops is Is Palma. Been trying to contact P.O. to see if there will be change to itinerary due to the volcano eruption but unable to contact. Has anyone got any info please?

I read somewhere that passengers who had booked accessible cabins have now been told they will no longer be available due to needing them for isolation of any passenger testing covid positive. Where does this leave the disabled passengers who wish to cruise? Do they get full refund with compensation for the inconvenience?

My aunt and uncle are going on a cruise in november on Ventura. They are not tech savvy and do not have a smart phone. Can anyone who is in similar position please put their mind at rest with regards to checking in theatre and dining. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thankyou.

My uncle who is 81 years a wheelchair part time. Does not use in cabin but will need it to get around the ship. Do you have to have an accessible cabin for a folding wheelchair as it will fit in cabin easily.

We always book direct with P.O. and have never had a problem. We need an accessible cabin as hubby used a mobility scooter and have found the P.O. telephone staff very helpful. Another advantage is you do not pay balance until 12 weeks before sailing. When you use agent it's 18 weeks. Enjoy your cruise!

Our daughter came off Britannia on sunday. She loved every minute! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and polite. The only downside was that she was unable to book a cruise for October this year on Ventura for balcony cabin as there is a waiting list.

How are passengers coping with booking and checking in etc without internet and smart phones. It's impossible to get through to P.O. Direct as they have reduced telephone lines. Be interested to know how passengers are getting all the necessary paperwork etc .

no problem.Thankyou.

Thankyou.

For cruisers who have returned from staycations. Just wondering what shows were in the theatre on Britannia.
Eavesway travel to Southampton
in P&O Cruises ( UK )

We have travelled with Eavesway many times and found them to be clean comfortable and reliable. However I read somewhere that the ship would not wait if coach delayed as P.O. Does not use them anymore.
