The shrimp is delicious! I could go for one of those right now.
If you get breakfast burritos don't forget to get the potatoes, they are amazing.

We had one booked for our Thanksgiving cruise two weeks ago and that was $135. We were unable to dock because of wind, so I booked another for our next cruise next year about a week ago and paid $150.

Wow, that is crazy about your bag. I'm glad they finally did compensate you for it. I was also on that cruise, Pig & Anchor was open on our first sea day. I liked it, my husband thought it was amazing and was sad it wasn't open a second time. Hopefully you'll get a chance to try it in the future.

Just disembarked today. :( Now 358 days until we cruise again.

I've been watching this system for a few days now, whether it develops or not it looks like our port days will possibly have wind and rain next week. I've been really stressing over it, but I know I can't control it so I'm trying to think of it as an adventure.

For us, it is about 15 minutes or so, from the time we check in until we get on the ship and we go directly to our cabin to drop off our carry ons. Our luggage is not there, ever.
I have only been on one cruise before. We had FTTF and unless I missed something there was no opportunity for anyone to get to their cabins early. They had the entryways to all the cabins blocked off until approximately 1:30 when everyone was let in. Are the policies different by ship? Were we allowed back to our cabin and just weren't aware?
Thanks for any info you have.

15! Can't wait. So need a vacation this year.

I also do a lot of walking and take the stairs whenever possible. Of course this doesn't really offset the extra calories, but it does help. We do fairly active excursions as well, normally. May be a problem this year as my husband is having severe walking problems due to plantar facscitis.
I had a terrible bout of plantar fasciitis a few years ago and of all the things I did to relieve the pain, the best advice came from my local running shoe store. They told me to wear a Strassburg sock while I slept, and I really think this was the biggest part of my recovery. It's not super comfortable but so much better than the hard braces that keep the feet positioned while sleeping. It's not very expensive and worth a try if he is suffering. I went from limping and barely walking to running again with over the counter arch supports in my shoes. I wish him the best and hope he is up and around for your next cruise!

Can this be used on the Pride?
Yes! I just checked the app and the Pride is listed as a supported ship.

Glad to hear this, we are crusing in November and I was hoping they would have it by then.

105! Can't wait!

We have only cruised once, but we all loved it so I booked a second immediately after we arrived home and have since booked a third. It's our new Thanksgiving tradition.
The major things I learned is that despite reading pack less than you think you need, we packed way too much. Next time around we will not be packing for formal night, last time we didn't participate. That will save a lot of space in our bags. I also never tried the chocolate lava cake so that's at the top of the list of must dos this time for me. We also got a balcony this time around so sitting outside and having drink of choice will also be amazing. We are 140 days out and I'm ready to go already!

Oh boy, I think I booked our 2017 cruise with the early saver rate, now feeling very nervous about that. I guess I need to pay better attention to the differences next time. Hopefully I didn't make too much of a mistake.
Just back from the Magic Western Itin.

I really enjoyed flick and 88 keys. We didn't go to the country music show because we aren't fans, but I think that Dr. E said it was debuting on our cruise so it was definitely new.
