Ship news.
There are 3 cruisers still missing a suit cases. RCI allocated them money to buy clothes on Aruba.
A few cabins on the 10th level has cruisers not having a great experience.
First of all. There showers have been backing up. And at other times just not draining.
But even worse their toilets do make the flushing sound but at times back up. Not a pretty sight.
Maintenance going cabin to cabin working to resolve the issues.
We heard that one cabin on embarkation day had an industrial fan drying the freshly cleaned/washed carpet.
Hope we stay dry. We are on deck 9.
Be safe.
Yikes. I’m sailing on May 4th and have been assigned an ocean view balcony on Deck 10.

Smart elevators 😱
I agree with you about sea days, I don’t care for them either. I also could never just stay on the ship even if it’s a port that I don’t really care about.
-
So cool to see the ship sailing into port right from your hotel room!

I came all the way over from the NCL boards for this one 🙂. I want to do this itinerary and was thinking Carnival may be the way to go. I think they go to a port that the other lines do not visit.

I prefer newer ships. However, if the itinerary is good (a port or two that I haven’t visited yet) I am willing sail on an older ship.

Anything that I wouldn’t mind washing in industrial strength detergent in hot water, and drying in high heat.
As a side note, my wife sent out a brand new green top, and when we got it back, it was gray and shriveled. It looked like it had been washed 20 times. We asked at guest relations if they could do anything to fix it and, the next day, they returned it looking brand new. I guess they dyed it and pressed it. Long story short, if you send something out and they mess it up, don’t be shy about letting them know. They’ll try to rectify it.
This is what I fear and why I’ve never sent laundry out. I’m glad they fixed it. 🙂

On my December 2023 Jade sailing, when the servers came around they informed us of how the meat was cooked, and we were told that other servers would be circulating with meat cooked to our preference.

It seems like every other month or so my password stops working and I have to change it. It’s quite annoying.

Great itinerary! Enjoy your cruise.

I’m surprised we haven’t seen an itinerary with a stop at both Harvest Cay and Great Stirrup Cay.
Escape, May 11, 2025 is stopping at both.

I have a cruise booked for May 2025 that stops at GSC. Looks like I’ll need to book another to see the improvements.
