  1. Ok question for yous that have booked conjoining rooms. Is there a trick to booking them? I have always booked online with ease and we love suites. But my babies are all bigger than me now. I am booked for the Vista in Feb 2017, and my kids will be 13, 15, and 17. So even with a suite it is getting tight. I was looking to book at the end of 2017 and really wanted to do conjoing rooms. They are almost adult, but not quite. And im not having any luck finding conjoining rooms.

So id love to get your feedback!

Also, with conjoining balconies, are you able to open up the dividers?

  2. I am hoping to have a May 2017 cruise booked soon. It will be the whole family and then some so pinning down a date right now. I am 5' 6" and began this lifestyle change in October (2015) at 217!! I am down to 197.6 this morning.

I have been low carbing and not began any exercise routine as of yet. I am 53 yrs old and swear that the yo-yo dieting I have done for the last 20yrs have completely anihalated my metab. I also was never a water drinker..more of a coffee all day kinda gal!! Now I drink much more water.. And actually get thirsty for it!!

My daughter will be married in October 16, and my son in December 16 !! I have asked them nicely to space my grand babies out a little more than that..haha. My reason for doing this now , aside for myself, is that I hate, I mean HATE, having my pic taken.. When I see them I always feel like I look like a freak...a stranger... I Don't even recognize myself . So my motivation is to,make sure I will be that proud MOB, MOG smiling away inthose pics!!

I am putting 100% into this. My first REAL goal was to be under 200 and I hit it about 3'weeks ago. I sometimes lose/gain 3 lbs over and over.. But have not gone back over the 200 mark. We can do this!!

YAY!!! Way to go!!! Slow and steady wins the race! There are many quick fixes, but you have to change your habbits if your want to avoid that rebound weight. Im trying to change, its hard. Im a stress eatter so I have been calorie counting to make myself accountable and aware of what Im doing to my body. Friday I weighed in at 194, so 11lbs down, and Im proud of that. Im not excerising as much as Id like to sue to time and knee pain, but calorie counting seems to be putting me back on track.

And i second that I hate pics, Im dumbfounded of what I look like in them, yet another reason to keep working on my goals!

  3. So Ive sailed on the Sensation & Fantasy, and I will be on the Vista in Feb 2017 (I know, totally different ends of the spectrum). But Im already looking to book my next cruise for the daughters graduation gift. My question is for those who have sailed on multiple different ships/ classes, which is your favorite and why?. Im open to were we sail from, im from Michigan so I have to travel regaurdless.

Im excited to hear your input :)

  4. Not sure about the holiday inn, but we stated at the Drury Inn, we truly enjoyed it. Nice motel, free hotel parking and shuttle to the port (at least it was when we went). Nice clean hotel, pool on the roof, and great customer service. They also included after new snack, alcohol beverages for the adults (2 free drinks), hot and cold appetizers. And later popcor & pop. First time ive ever stayed at a drury inn, and have since stayed at others. If i ever cruise out of NOLA again, i wouldnt stay anywhere else.

    Good luck on ur search.
