Online it shows the times we would want as unavailable.

We have booked reservations for specialty dining for our cruise but did not get optimal times or dates for what we would like. Where does one go to book a different day and time and cancel the other that we have locked in just in case?

When you can see all the luggages lined up they are all standing there when we got off there were dozens of them . We were off pretty early so maybe when you got off they were all helping people only way you wouldn't see them .
Oh - Thanks! Probably at the bottom of the escalator then? I'm definitely looking for them this year and going to get off a little earlier. We actually had to wait for them to call our color last time - wasted time.

Last summer disembarkation was a nightmare for us. We had a 9:30 color and didn't make it to the street until noon. Want to make it a little quicker this summer - Where are the porters to help get luggage to customs? I didn't see them last year, but always see them in Miami.

There is a lot we don't know yet. Maybe they will be free for NCL passengers. It's just that NCL seems to be very much into nickel and dimming. We should know pretty soon though.
One thing I read is that Bermuda does not plan to lease the Millennium ferry after 2017. So I guess they figure they won't need it with the NCL tenders operating in 2018.
Yes, if they are leasing the ferry starting in May, we should have information soon. If not, I'll be sure to report back after our July cruise. Thanks for all the added information!

I'm getting an earlier time off this year. Last year we took 9:30 a.m. and didn't make it to the street until noon.

I hope that the ferries will be running for our July 18th arrival. I had heard they would only be for NCL guests - is that true? I also heard they would be free, but I sense that is a rumor and I doubt it.

I didn't see any porters on disembarkation last year at Manhattan terminal. I saw a sign, but no porters. I surely would like to find one this year as I thought disembarkation was a mess in NYC. It took us over two hours last year.

We very much enjoyed this tour - may do it again this year!

I take about $100 in singles, lots of 5's and a some 10's. I put them in the safe and use what I need. Then I take home anything left and put it i envelopes for the next trip. I use 20's for room steward. We don't have a butler - yet!

Of those that you mentioned ~ only Cirque, Burn the Floor, and Rock of Ages are available to prebook. I know because I just recently did that. Don't know if that helps!

If you have SDP - wouldn't you just lose that portion of your promotion? Why would you have to pay?

Can gift cards be used for gambling in the casino?

Thanks for sharing. It's helpful! We are Bermuda Bound in August on the BA!

Your plans are fine, 250 is a good price for Manhattan ( I prefer staying midtown) I hope you will visit museum also, you are also walking distance to Trinty church, Frances tavern and Wall st. We have done museum and will take the elevator up in exactly 2 weeks, I heard that elevator ride was amazing, was on top of old World trade center some 25 years ago and worked in the area when original Towers were built.
Thanks for that reassurance, George. We are from the Chicagoland area, but my daughter lives near Red Bank, NJ and we have ferried over to the city from her house (NJ Highlands) but have never been to Freedom Tower before. For sure we will visit the museum and look for the other places you have suggested!

I don't know if our plan is a good one or not, but we booked the World Center Hotel (I think it was about $250) for the night before our cruise. Flight comes into LGA at noon so we booked reservations online and printed out tickets for the Tower at 5:00 p.m. to be a little on the safer side. This is for Aug. 6th with cruise on Aug. 7th. out of Manhattan Pier.

Loved it!

Very helpful thread. Thanks for starting it! There are very few on our roll call and I'm beginning to wonder why, but I don't see anything listed yet! Fingers crossed!

Very nice! Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences. It's appreciated!

We booked a 12th floor aft balcony on the Breakaway for this August, for 3 people. Looking forward to having an aft room for the larger balcony. However, Was wondering if anyone can advise if this type room is comfortable for 3 people or should I look for a large balcony room class or mini suite instead?
Appreciate any feedback. Thanks
Looks like we will be on the same cruise. Sign up for the roll call on this website if you want. It's very slow right now, but it's there.

Thanks for sharing your review with us. Much appreciated as we await sailing the Breakaway to Bermuda in August!

Basically the mirror image of the balcony we had! You'll love it. Enjoy.
Where is that like button??? Thanks for the helpful advice!

You know Chitown, smoking is prohibited on balconies ,but i wont tell.
Ha Ha! I follow the rules! I haven't sailed since they stopped allowing smoking on balconies. It's been a while, but I'll survive it (we don't smoke in our house either).

Thanks everyone. We just took your advice. I called NCL and changed to 12306 (deck 12). 120 sq. ft. balcony to enjoy!
Changing dining reservations

So I found out. I did book the reservations at 90 days out and then went back yesterday (86 days) to add a couple of shows and somehow all of my dinner reservations got canceled. I was able to rebook LeBistro and Ocean Blue, but within the few seconds that happened we lost our Cagney's reservations. Somebody must have booked right when mine got canceled - :mad:mad at myself. I booked a different day and time, but would like to get the original back. I'll try calling or get to them as soon as we board. Thanks! It's not the end of the world - still don't know what mistake I made.
