Not sure if this is exactly what you need, but it is pretty comprehensive:

starts immediately (except NY/TX), and valid throughout sailing, though you pay taxes while in port
If there was only a website that could factually answer this question... 🤦♂️

Google or go to the Carnival Website.
-
Many of us finding less value of this forum do to the sheer volume of Cheers! questions that could simply be resolved by a simple Google or Carnival website search.
The same could be applied to FTTF and Cabin availability times.
IMHO, many of the informative posts about specific cruise ships and cruise reviews get demoted due to the sheer number of redundant questions from people to lazy to search.

I’d wait to book until Southwest and other low cost carriers open their schedules. Right now, there’s no LCC competition so the mains are trying to see at what price people will bite.
Southwest’s next schedule release is 6/8
@lauti This comment is spot on!
Right now the ""Big Three" can charge whatever the market will pay as the low cost carriers have flights published to early November, 2023.
Thanks again!

Is the Chefs table back on Carnival or still shutdown? If so, when does the option open up? I don't see it as an option and I'm not sure if it's just not available or is sold out, cruise is over 100 days away still.
It was on the Ecstasy a couple of weeks ago. 2 nights, in the Library

I've noticed no difference at all.
Depends how much the neighbor lost in the Casino and how loud the yelling is by the significant other!
Somebody maxxed out the credit card next to us a couple of cruises ago and his wife was irate for about an hour... At 2am!!

My apologies if this has been asked before for those cruising in Europe/Italy/Greece on the Pride...
We have heard that it is easy to bring purchased wine onboard (and into our room) in the various Mediterranean ports without having to check those bottles to pick up at debarkation.
Has anyone had any recent experience with this? Did we hear wrong?
Thanks in advance!

FWIW... My last $500 Fun Play was handed out in Cash.

Our last 3 cruises, I had drinks anywhere on the ship, as per the offer, my DW was not included.
We were able to purchase Cheers for her when we boarded. I suggest you do this at the Atrium bar where you board. It involves a Manager override and it's best there.

I would never get the drink package on a 12 day European cruise.
1. You can carry on alcohol in Europe.
2. The cruise tends to be port intensive so most people won't be on the ship much during the day.
3. I can drink enough for 3 or 4 days to make it worth the cost on the drink package...if I try. No way I could ever do that for 12 straight days. You are basically having to drink (or you and the person you are cruising with together) roughly 140 or so drinks to make Cheers financially make sense.
The one thing I will say is that a tip is included in the cost of Cheers so I wouldn't feel that you had to tip extra. I usually do, but you are still technically tipping even if you don't tip.
Great summary.
I have drinks everywhere on the ship for our October cruise out of Rome. My DW, is not a big drinker, so between the 7 ports and wines we can bring on board, we are solid.

Amazing how so many people gave opinions, rather than 1st hand facts
Thank you to all who replied with 1st hand knowledge.

We did a 4 day cruise out of backpacks and "hope" to the same for a 10 day cruise in Europe.
Obviously we will need on board laundry services. We do not have to pay for luggage to fly from JFK to FCO (Rome), but we want to take the train without a bunch of luggage to wheel through the terminal streets of Rome.
It will be a challenge, but as someone mentioned, nobody pays attention to what you wear.
We will probably have an extra bag for elegant nights. I will bring my Tuxedo and my DW will bring a couple of evening gowns.
We'll post our actual strategy closer to the cruise.

With the crew shortage, we did not order room service on this last cruise.
We did hear from others that it took much longer than expected and the accuracy was not up to par.

Those with passports will fly.
Those without passports will eventually fly home unless they want to not wait and swim back.😉
Another reason to be proactive and get a passport!

Interesting that the fire hoses did not have enough water pressure to reach the funnels. Obviously the fire suppression system in the funnel failed.

I was just wondering if they are back to serving bacon every morning on the buffet or is it still every other day?
I'm bringing some shelf stable bacon will parade it on my plate every day like someone who won a big prize at the Fair!

Tip the server $5.00 cash the first drink and $2.00 thereafter, you will pretty well get a drink every 10-12 minutes.
Tipping to get preferred treatment arguments? Wrong thread.
Spending tip money in a casino knowing you will get great service and saves the "I just lost $25 waiting 20 minutes for my drink" can save you hundreds over a cruise.

Can my son order from kids menu in the steak house?

The Carnival Steakhouses are very accommodating. If you have a quick conversation with the Host prior to seating, they will take care of your request.
