  1. Thank you for the new thread. I was getting all of my information from that thread for our friends to decide if they wanted to keep our currently booked cruise or switch to the Enchanted Princess. I don’t like going through 100 other threads for information.

+1.  We can only hope that either there was a page missing from those screenshots OR that this is temporary and they are still working on adding the equipment to make the pastas.  The Agnolotti is our go-to every visit.  We split one of those and a pizza.  It's the best pasta on the ship.

okay, am I wrong or wasn’t there supposed to be an entire little room for pasta making where everyone could see on this ship? Seems like they could use the pasta from that!

Agree - you couldn’t pay me to be the chair monitor. People are rude and downright nasty when it comes to loungers.

Agreed. I do not even go to the pool deck looking for a lounger anymore. Once was enough. Lady was so rude when I sat in a completely empty lounge three down from her stating she was holding the whole row for her family. (It wasn’t that nicely stated) I’ve never been back.

Yeah, I am done with this now. No reports from current passengers yet.

Several sources saying conflicting information. Waste of my time.

Yeah I can switch to a D1 and save $1000 USD for my cruise. Just might! Just have to go up a floor. No biggie.

    vividharp,

can you let us know where on the Princess site you are seeing that.

    is there a link.

    can you send a screenshot.

You can find it on the deck plan and Princess can see it as well however, they can’t explain what the benefits are.

I haven't been able to find it on the Princess website.  It still looks like the screenshots on my post #2633 on both the princess.com deck plans and when doing a mock booking.

I contacted princess to get more information and I was passed around to three different people. The only person that could tell me anything was the concierge department. She stated it received “reserve benefits” but could not tell me where to find that in writing.

We got some differing news on a post (don't remember which thread) that I didn't have time to refer to that mentioned "on cruisedeckplans.com."  So this reminded me and I went to check it out.  Sure enough it is on that site but given that it isn't the official Princess site, no one should take it as gospel (which you can't even do with the Princess site).  This may be the reason no one, as far as I know, has been able to provide a description of DO signature benefits and upgrades from the official website.

Yes, but it also says it directly on Princesses website. And their sales team can’t explain.

I went back and found it!  Hopefully, this info is consistent for anyone.  The photos are on page 113, Post #2804;  the video is on page 114, Post #2839.  The poster is BOREAL.

Has anyone seen a deluxe balcony with a large balcony?

And know the cabin or deck?

    (Not a cabana)

I wish those with photos or videos could mention the deck area or cabin number.

Here you go! This might be what you’re looking for.

To BOREAL, I say, THANK YOU for the photos of the 17604 balcony and video of the room.  It all confirms that I love my choice for a December 2024 cruise on the Sun Princess.  I chose a D0 on Deck 15 so I will be a little further away from the overhang (the overhang was a pain when trying to take photos of tall mountains in Alaska).  The nice-sized balcony looks just as I hoped -- one can sit privately yet have a curved view.  Or one can go to the railing and see what's happening.  I think I see a connecting door on the balcony, so I am hoping that it can be opened since my brother will be in the next cabin.  If not, we'll both just hang out over the railing and chat!

Again, thanks to everyone for all the photos, videos, links, and information.  Now don't forget to take time for fun!

My guess on the untitled photo with the long tunnel balcony is a Premium Deluxe Balcony room (D1) on Deck 14, 15 or (D2) on Deck 16 in the Sphere -- the diagram shows very long boxes for the balcony.

Did I miss this? I’ve been waiting for it. So many posts have came in today. Which post # was it? I’d love to see it!

Premium Deluxe Balcony is not listed with higher pricing.  To be clear, there are minor variations in pricing based on location, NOT based on benefits. I can tell you flat out that none of the D category cabins are meant to have Signature Suite benefits…because they are not suites.  There is something weird going on with the D0 (aft Premium Deluxe Balcony) cabin descriptions when you go to book that category through the app on your phone.  If you try to book it on your laptop, it says nothing about Signature.  If you look at the room description on your laptop or your phone (i.e., click on a D0 cabin on the deck plan when you are not trying to make a booking), it says nothing about Signature.  When you look at the descriptions for Premium Deluxe Balcony (D0, D1, D2) on your laptop or phone, it is clear that there are no Signature benefits.  My guess is that those D0 aft cabins, which are adjacent to S9 Signature Suites, were originally going to be S9 cabins but wound up being D0 because design changes during construction resulted in the square footage for the D0 cabins being less than that of the adjacent S9 cabins…but the D0 descriptions never got fully updated in the mobile version of the website.  That’s just my guess, of course.  Regardless, I do not believe D0 cabins were never meant to have Signature Suite benefits.  It just would not make sense for them to have such benefits considering that NOT A SINGLE OTHER NON-SUITE CABIN ON THE ENTIRE SHIP has those benefits. What about all the mini-suites?  Are you telling me that not a single mini-suite has Signature benefits, but somehow a subset of balcony rooms (a lower cabin class than mini-suite) somehow has Signature Suite benefits? Boy, if this is true, all those people who paid more for mini-suites and didn’t get Signature Suite benefits sure would feel like chumps right now, right?

Yes, it is listed as two different prices.

I am on Regal now and asked Future Cruise guy about the D0- aft premium deluxe balconies that say includes signature benefits & upgrades. These are the more expensive in that category- aft. He said yes to eating in Signature restaurant & to sun deck. No to signature lounge. He wasn’t very informed about much. Wait & see.

Interesting, I’m in a D1 and I can book the signature restaurant too.
