  1. A bridge tour is something I’d like to do on the Sun.
  2. This is new, I need to see how others feel before I jump into a suite. We’re in a D1 category for now in November to give time to work out any issues.
  3. I looked, both Star princess and Star of the seas debut August 2025.
  4. I’m booked in a premium deluxe balcony, gold, in Nov with the Premier package and I can book for it also.
  5. After we looked at the rooms more, decided to keep the balcony we have with the larger balcony since we will spend more time out there than in the cabana area. We didn’t change our room. So I agree with you.
  6. Is it just me or does that pasta station look small for all of the pasta to be made there?
  7. The explanation of the cabana balconies makes more sense to me now. Thanks for showing that. I do not have one booked however I was thinking of it when we did book. We ended up booking just a regular balcony cabin with the larger balcony. Now seeing the differences, I may see if any of the purple ones are available.
  8. Yes, this is what I keep thinking to myself. Just give it a chance. I can’t say I don’t like it if I don’t try it!
  9. The princess ships that I’ve been on do not have aft lifts. It’s definitely interesting to see.
  10. Yes, showers with no curtains is a major step up. Excited to see the other changes. I’m not one to say I don’t like something until I try it.
  11. My husband and I are not against children either. But we prefer a calm relaxed environment. We picked princess because it was mostly older adults. We’re only in our 40’s however, we fit in better with the 60’s crowd. I tend to believe it was because we were raised by an older generation. We don’t have kids, don’t like loud parties with a lot of drinking, and very much enjoy a nice sit down dinner with good conversation. We might try one of the other cruise lines you guys have mentioned here if we see princess going down the Royal Road.
  12. We do like princess due to the fewer children.
  13. It still looks like they have a lot of work to complete before February. For all those sailing on that first sailing I really hope they finish in time.
  14. @rocklinmom We originally wanted to try the cabana suites and they were sold out so fast. We wanted to give something new and different a try. We ended up with a deluxe balcony. And we couldn’t get two together. We did get two on the same floor though.
  15. The pics don’t load for me sadly. I’d love to see them. I’m booked for fall 2024.
  16. Interesting, when we went there were no other guests. I wonder if that made a difference. Now I’m questioning if I will try it again.
  17. This makes me sad you had a bad experience. Our best experience with Crown Grill was on Regal. I’m so sorry.
  18. It would be very unfortunate to make the shows an upcharge. Hopefully they do not go in that direction.
  19. Am I wrong? I thought the wake-view area was open to everyone? At least that’s what I’ve read. (Had a feeling I’d never go since it would always be packed)
  20. My Nov 2024 cruise still has refundable deposits.
  21. I’m booked, interested to see how it will be. Haven’t sailed with Princess since Regal first sailed out of Fort Lauderdale. And only have been on one cruise between when Symphony came to Miami. I can tell you, not a huge fan of the mega ships. Loved the Regal.
