  1. Warm and cold are relative. As noted OP is in Hawaii so Mexican Riviera could be relatively cool. We did Southern Caribbean in February (mid month but same) and it was warm for us from Minnesota (at the time) but could be cool for others. San Juan was 100° warmer when we got off the plane than when we got on in Minneapolis (at -20°). But it would probably be very similar to Hilo. I agree with the South Pacific suggestion for best chances of warm in that time period.

Heh, just makes me think of being in an airport during the winter and seeing people in shorts and flip-flops knowing they either are really looking forward to being in warm place or will soon be wishing they thought about their flight home attire a little better

  2. And when I click the "Watch now" link, it just takes me back to the top of the page to order the video.

Correct, you fill out that page, then another page about where you are interested in going, if you have kids, your address, etc. When you submit that page it take you to one that says "Watch DVD Online Now". And until this last time I did it just now, that button took you to a page where the video didn't work. Worked this time. Excuse me while I watch the prettiest ships cruise the oceans...

  3. When I go to the website, and find the "Vacation Planning Video", then click the "Watch now" link, it just takes me to the page to order a video, not actually watch it.

It looks like that, but there are two options on that page. One to watch now and one to order it.

  4. Going on my 5th in a few months. Funny how that's less than most here, but among people we talk to it's high. I'm always surprised when I find people that don't even seem to consider taking a cruise. They have this feeling like you're stuck in the water with nothing to do. I tell them price out a week in Disney World, then look at the price a week long cruise that covers your room, food and entertainment.

  5. MY recommendation is for SEATAC TOWNCAR SERVICE. His name is AJ and we use him whenever we are in Seattle. Call 206 697-5577 and get a quote or check out www.seatactowncar.com If you feel like it tell him Charlene from San Diego says HELLO !!!!

You won't regret booking with them :) and have an awesome cruise

I find it interesting that you plaster this on every Seatac transportation thread, but there are no reviews for him on Yelp and only one on Tripadvisor.

  6. I guess I determine it by the availability of flights. We live near San Francisco, and when we cruise from the east coast, we fly the day before. Our cruise from Los Angeles, we flew the morning of and our cruise from Seattle we'll fly the morning of. There are a lot of options to quickly get from here to those places if something were to go wrong. And it's harder to justify staying overnight for a 90min flight.

  7. While marijuana might be legal where you are, it is still against federal laws. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed to board with it, if you could even get it to the port.

This, transporting across state lines is still a federal offense.

  8. We have the flying issue as well. If I lived in FL, then I'd hope cruising would be a several times a year thing and maybe the shorter ones would be worth it, but I'm not sure. Since at the most cruising is an annual thing, I find it takes me a few days to get into "ship mode". Getting used to the flow of the ship, being able to relax without worrying I'm missing something. And I like being able to have variety. Staying up late one night, another getting to bed earlier and walking the ship during sunrise. One day picking lots of activities and another finding the perfect quiet spot. We haven't done shorter than 7 nights and would love longer. My wife just booked a 5 night for next year and we don't get to board until late afternoon. So we'll see.
