Who doesn't use the pool towels?  I rarely swim on the ship, but I still take them up to my lounger on Lido, and I certainly use them at beach port stops, and I think nearly every other passenger does the same.  Making everyone request them would create a lot more work for the cabin stewards and long lines at the towel hut.

And there would also be a ten-page thread on CC about another Carnival Cutback.  :classic_rolleyes:

I rarely ever use the towels. If I decide to lay out on a lounger I just go to the towel hut for one & when we go ashore I take my own. I bought my own for cruising because they are smaller/thinner when folded & so much lighter. I've seen quite a few others but carrying carnival towels too. So no not everyone uses the cruise line's as well as not everyone takes their own

  2. Depends on which ship. In the Breeze for me it is so worth it but it's it is almost always busy. On the Vista though, the thalassotherapy pool was too small & only 2 heated loungers were working. In the Jubilee, the thalassotherapy pool was small too, lots of heated loungers but very busy most of the day. In the evening though it was pretty empty

    Hello everyone!

I am going on a Carnival cruise (Firenze) with my adult siblings and their children, in 3 days. This is the first time we've all been together in many years, and my sister-in-law was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness. We want to potentially book the Dreams Studio to get a group photo together.

Question- Have you booked the studio, especially for a group family photo, and is it worth it? Is the package per room, or can we get a group photo package and split it?

Lastly, is there digital only options? I really dont want to have to carry a canvas print off the ship, I'm just hoping to get a usb and print at a print shop on canvas papaer when I return home.

You really don't need to book Dream Studios for a group portrait, but they do a beautifuljob. Pixels photographers can do it. The ones in front of the staircase are best for group photos. I did a Dream session once by accident. Someone walked up to us asking if we wanted to take nice pictures, didn't disclose it was Dream. The pictures were AWESOME but it was over $1500 for everything. After several no thank yous they dropped it to $700. It was 30 digitals & 1 canvas. I gave in because it was my son's graduation cruise. But nope I wouldn't do it again

Most of the info in the online check-in can be completed in the days after you check in and before your cruise. You don't have to fill out everything right when you check in.

Yeah I know that. I usually skip everyone's stuff but mine to at least get the appt time. I had give back to complete our check in. I rarely ever sail out of anywhere but my home port, which is 1 hr away. This time we're flying to the port so i never had to do that step before. The flight to the port is a connecting flight which i couldn't find in their search. Yes I saw you could manually add it but it only let me add 1, what about the connecting flight though. So that's why i was wondering if the info was needed. Return flight is non-stop so no problem there.

  5. When doing your online check-in if you are flying in, do you have to put it on your online check in? Or is it okay to just put no?  If not using Carnival transportation does it really matter....hhhmmmmm

Anyone know how 'per room' onboard credit works if one of the two people end up no showing?  Booked cruise with $500 per room onboard credit.  Friend's mother in law is not doing well and my friend may end up last minute not going on the cruise.  I'm finding contradictory information on Carnival's website.  One answer makes it seem like the OBC is per room, no matter how many people and the other answer implies it's per guest 1 and two.  So if my friend ends up not going last minute and I go solo will I get all $500 or will I only get $250?  Anyone know or experience this before.  Cruise is out of Miami next month.  Credit comes from a casino promotion on my VIFP number.  Thanks!

When we had a no show obc was lost, she was guest #2 of 4. It was non transferable

$22 per digital seems really high, but maybe this is the going rate? I really don't want the actual prints either but rather the digital version so I can print when I get home. Is that type of package available?

The $300 pkg is digitals only. But honestly I think it depends on the ship. On the Breeze they gave me both,i had the $300 (15 pix) pkg. But on the Jubilee I purchased the $300 pkg & was gifted the $200 pkg. I was allowed to select 14 digitalis plus the canvas which is a print & 10 prints, including the canvas print. I had to go back to read the description of the packages to understand it

Same here. I purchased a shore excursion on 10/10 and still haven't received the 10% back. In the past, the discount would usually post about 2 days after purchase. I contacted customer support, and they claim it will post after 11/10 when the new cycle starts. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

i got my credit when the statement closed.  this was back at the beginning of summer.  i thought it was normal so i didn't think nothing of it at the time

Why cant you use cheers day one outta Galveston?? Other cruises can use it day one. Can you use the soda package day one?

My wife has cheers for her only on a casino deal. I wonder if host will comp me and look at my sea pass card?

    bob

TABC law or policy whatever.... other cruise lines written around it by limiting the alcohol used. Carnival doesn't. Yes bubbles does start on day 1.
