  1. We don't sail until April 2023. And I've been checking religiously since we booked the cruise in March. Could this be a glitch? Or will traditional show up later? Many of the dining options aren't available for booking yet (I assume since we're so far out), but there isn't even an icon/clickable option for traditional dining.
  2. Is MTD the only option on some sailings? Kind of wish for our upcoming cruise we would have the option to choose, as I think traditional would work better for our little one.
  3. Does it have to be cans of soda? Can it be cans of juice? Cans of ice tea? Cans of sparkling water?
  4. Oh, thank you so much! Silly me, I didn't click around enough
  5. I'm a bit eager, but from how far out from your sailing date can you see info on the app? We don't sail until end of April, and all I can see thus far is our reservation. Have been doing other things (reservations, purchases etc) via the website.
  6. Also true. Have suffered through many delays getting in and out of Toronto due to wintery weather.
  7. Definitely! "Protective" bag probably won't do much, but we're looking into those. Also looking into these as well. Would definitely prefer something compact and there's so much available on the market.
  8. This is generally hurricane season for the Caribbean. We have a trip, not a cruise, booked in September, but haven't registered yet. Was the only time we could go this year, so we're taking out chances, have been caught places before in hurricane weather, and its definitely not an enjoyable season. Hard to plan when hurricane season is so long.
  9. So many of my friends that have flown on Canadian airlines with their toddlers (the ones with smaller babies, haven't had issues) weren't permitted to bring the car seat onto the plane. Some were even told 'yes, its permitted', 'yes, that seat meets plane standards' prior to arriving at the airport and then they get there, literally to the gate and have to check it. Can't stand all the confusion, but yes, we will definitely re-evaluate the situation closer to departure.
  10. We always register on this site, even if we're only crossing the border by car for a few hours. Never hurts to be cautious. Surprisingly not many people even know that this exists.
  11. We'll be on Air Canada. We don't mind bringing the seat to and from the airports as we don't plan to use them onboard. Will solely use for auto transportation for shore excursions for a few of the ports in Italy and France and obviously for Uber/Taxi rides from airports. I currently use, in my own vehicle, an Evenflo Triumph (too big to bother even removing from the car), we also have an Evenflo Sport something or the other, which is significantly lighter (it's like a booster but with the harness straps). We'll figure it out, I still have about 348 days to stress about it 😂
  12. Definitely, we're looking into all the laws for places we're planning to be in a car. We've been considering one of the models of travel/backless boosters for Europe. Since our little one will be almost 4 at the time, he'll still be too short (so we believe) for maximum safety of a seat belt with a booster, so between our two car seats, we're just going to lug the lightest one with us. Will need to use at least 6 times over the course of a 10 day trip, so we would rather be safe than sorry.
