  1. I agree it can be cool sometimes and a nice V neck sweater is easy to pack.
  2. No problem with you using the app if you wish. I don’t see the benefit for us as the Seabourn app gives us boarding passes (I am not flying anywhere) but I don’t want to miss out. . I just wonder where my sensitive information goes.
  3. Thanks SLSD I agree that there are many with jackets in the MDR. They seem fine people. I’m just not one of them and I hope I don’t offend them. We should all just enjoy a good meal. On a formal evening I choose to dine elsewhere out of respect for the code. No problem. I wouldn’t enter Buddhist shrines with my shoes on for the same reason. We should respect other faiths and traditions until they die out.
  4. Just thinking about packing for an upcoming Alaska trip. The need for layers, waterproof shoes, gloves, hats etc etc. came to mind. Something will have to give to be able to stick to the two carry-on rule so out went the jacket. Shirt/pants and I'm good for the MDR. Only one formal night and I won't be missed. 😉
  5. The Verifly app was suggested to us as being useful for our upcoming Alaska cruise. I downloaded it but so far haven't created an account. Does it have any advantage over the Seabourn App except perhaps for some performance issues. The Seabourn app takes all the information and provides a boarding pass, knows the details of the itinerary etc.. Does Verifly do the same? Who owns Verifly and what do they do with your information?
  6. Quite possibly, though with the excursions they must pay up front and then get refunds. Presumably they have idle cash. 😉
  7. I have found that some people will book several, often conflicting, excursions months in advance. They make their choice closer to the cruise date and then cancel the ones they don't want, opening up to the waitlist.
