Good morning,
We thank all of you who have contributed to this topic, added personal expertise and knowledge, or followed along during the journey of the Zaandam, and later both the Zaandam and Rotterdam in tandem, and have expressed your concerns and well-wishes for the passengers and crew on both ships.
Due to the size of this topic, and now that both ships have been able to dock at Port Everglades, we have closed this topic to new posts and have started a continuation topic here --
I personally will never forget staying up into the wee hours following the passage through the Panama Canal, or watching the webcams "together" as we saw the two ships reach safe harbor. Once again, we thank all of the members of the Cruise Critic Community who came together to follow this voyage. We appreciate each one of you.

The journey of the Zaandam, later joined by the Rotterdam, to Fort Lauderdale has now ended. Yesterday evening both ships were admitted to the port and have begun discharging passengers.
The existing thread which followed their journey step by step, is over 116 pages and 4000 posts long. The original topic has been closed to new posts, but remains available for viewing:
Please add further discussion of these two ships, their passengers and crew, here.

There's a great view of Zaandam right now from the Fort Lauderdale webcam (on Pier 66)

I'm not in that area; I'm watching the feed from their website.

The webcams seem to reload periodically; the news station linked above has good video at times as well. I know the folks onboard must be feeling so relieved, and the families and friends of the crew and passengers.

Well, the hosts have shut down ANOTHER thread on this topic......
All 3 pending topics about Zaandam and Rotterdam were merged here. No topics were shut down. As it seems there will be newsworthy events today, which passengers and crew on these two ships, as well as their families, may be interested in following, please try to help us keep discussion on topic. We do thank you very much.

The title of this topic is "Flu" on Zaandam. Please limit conversation to that so this convo can remain open.
Thank you,LauraS
As a reminder, this is a ship at sea (actually now 2 ships), with passengers onboard, and families and friends at home who may be seeking or sharing information about the ships' status.
We request that members please move discussions about other topics (such as different choices which the cruise line might or might not have been able to make 2-3 weeks ago, Amazon home delivery availability, magazine articles about different ships still with passengers onboard, etc.) to another appropriate thread, or to our Floataway Lounge if they are not cruise related.
Thank you.

Greetings, Royal Caribbean Cruisers ~ If an effort to give our members a place where we can discuss how things are where YOU are related to the Coronavirus, hosts are starting these threads so we can chat during the crisis. Let's talk about creative ways our families and neighbors are coping and helping one another out; share ideas for parents who are at home 24/7 with their school age children; you get the idea..... Our only request is that we AVOID turning this into a political or health debate thread. This is a stressful time for everyone. Let's practice some kindness and make Cruise Critic a place members want to visit in this difficult time.

Hello, everyone!
The fourth part of this thread reached over 5000 posts, so it's time to close it and start a new one. Part 4 is now closed, but remains available for review and reading at this link
https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2559429
Please be reminded of the purpose of this thread:
Hi folks! In order that we are able to continue to provide this special Watercooler opportunity the original reason for creating it must be adhered to....that is, it is for OFF TOPIC and conversational discussion not related to Silversea cruises.
Therefore, any and all discussion about Silversea -- no matter what it is -- needs to be posted on the main cruise line forum.
Of course the exception is ROLL CALLs and TOUR SHARES, which belong on the specific roll call for your sailing.
Thank you,
Laura
PS: I've subscribed to the thread and I'm enjoying the funnies and mostly all the food pics!
Please continue your water cooler discussion in this thread. :)

Hi all,
Has anyone had a problem getting in contact with Native Choice tours? We have a fairly large group tour with them next week and I've been trying to confirm the total people they have us for. I've emailed 4 times over the past month with no answer back. When I had questions months ago before we booked, they responded several time right away.
Anyone else having any issues? Or has anyone gone on any of their tours in the last month, and all was well?
Thanks!!!!
I'm having trouble as well. Trying to book a private tour and not getting replies to emails. My time frame isn't as short as yours, though. :( I hope you hear back soon.
