My husband and I just applied for our passports on April 13th and they took our original birth certificates and gave us photocopies.  Im worried that we wont get our originals back before our cruise on May 21st. I'm very anxious and stressed about this!  I live in Florida, but I was born in California.  I have gone onto many sites to get a copy of my birth certificate, but they state at least 5 weeks.  Rescheduling our cruise is NOT an option at this point.  Anyone know if these will be accepted, and if not where or what site I can go to purchase a copy of my birth certificate?  Thank you for your info!

You just sent it 3 days ago?

  2. I take Bonine (Meclizine 25mg) starting the last couple of nights of the cruise and continue for several nights after. I used to get it really bad, felt very groggy and kept walking into walls, couldn’t turn around without feeling very dizzy - but since starting using Bonine- nada! No drowsiness either.

I'm a long term D+ Royal Cruiser (also UK based) and refuse to pay the £80+ a day. Given the high fares and constant upcharging am Sailing Virgin Voyages this year instead with a free $600 Bar Tab and lower overall fare. Looking forward to breaking free from my 'loyalty' and trying something new.

We are trying MSC this year. Drinks and WiFi included in cruise fare.

  4. You can get a temporary license and if your state does not have a photo you should also be able to get a state ID card with photo. Take proof of identity/ SS card, birth cert / proof of residency. Utility bill/ rent or mortgage payment .
With both of those docs you should be good to sail.

    Good luck.
