Everyone in the cabin gets VIFP credit for the days cruised. The only thing I've ever noticed that's based on who booked it is they're folio number is first (i.e. his was 12345 and mine was 12346)

I got off the Splendor's Premier Casino Cruise a few weeks ago...

the casino cash... you go to the cashier's window, hand them your sign & sail card, sign the receipt and they give you the cash. Do whatever you want with it. Gamble it or put it on your sign & sail account for things onboard.

The Drink on Us cards are great. As long as you're playing in the casino you can get a free drink every 15 minutes. They will hand you a receipt to sign to tip if you want to. We did each time and had a fantastic server

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – The life boats were all below deck 6 so the view was great

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal 2 person cabin

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - NA

Any specific problems with this cabin? - the shower drain was very slow (a few times the bathroom floor flooded)

Any other comments? - Excellent cabin IMO. The elevator cove was in front of the cabin so no long walks to them. The aft lido buffet was just a few steps (and a few decks) above us. Port days required a walk to the front of the ship but it only bugged me coming back (happy to go, tired when I got back)

I'm guessing you have to do it at check in then? Was going to call Carnival. Want to change from "cash" to a "credit card". I don't see an option to do so.

In the online section when you edit you will need to delete your onboard account and set it up again. I did this yesterday... went from cash to credit.

if you're referring to the memory foam one I'd like to give you my experience with bringing one.... don't.:cool: It became hard as a rock. I believe it was from all the humidity

Nights 3 and 5 I ate at early the buffet and came to the MDR for dessert only.

How did you do that? Did you wait until everyone at the table was ordering?

If there is a formula they're not sharing it. It's been hit or miss with me on the free cruises (they're called bounce back offers but I've read they've stopped giving them)

One cruise I had over 8k points on my card and I was expecting a bounce back offer... but I didn't receive one. The cruise before that one I only had 5k and received one.

I do get casino offers in my VIFP section and many premier cruise offers.

By far the best I've ever seen.

My BF and I had that cabin in Jan 2016... we were always out there and I don't remember it being wet but once. We sailed through a storm on the last sea day (the pictures and video are the best I've ever taken btw) and there was some spray from the waves.

here's the link for Carnival's web site. I'm not positive if it's on all ships so you'll need to search for the ship you're going on. The cheapest would be to get the social media package and communicate via facebook messages

post on John Hearld's page and ask him to please arrange a table for two for you. You will need to do it four days before leaving, and include which ship, the date you're leaving, your cabin number and what dining option you have been confirmed on. Every time I've asked I've gotten it. Oh course there is no guarantee (the disclaimer) but chances are very good.

The 50 per person deposit is under "today's deal"

I'm 100% sure the 2nd answer from Carnival is right. I have a German birth cert (born in a German hospital btw not on base), my father was military, and the consular paper. Don't be shocked if they walk away with it and confer with a few other port people.... they don't see them too often.

I've been on over 25 cruises and only started using a passport the last year (because my cert is getting old and I'm afraid of losing it)

This type of birth cert is difficult to replace so your friend will want to keep the passport up to date (but after this scare I'm sure they will).

We had an slight issue switching an existing booking to a premier casino offer, but Carnival took care of it. My question is how can I be 100% sure that I am booked under that code and will be part of the fun? I did not receive a snail mail offer, it was under my VIFP offers (so I can't bring the mailing with me).

I have a question... which dining room is for the assigned times?

Does Carnival recognize you at the next level if you are going to move to that level mid cruise?

Yes. If you change levels during the cruise you start off at the higher level.

I'd be afraid to buy prescription drugs anywhere but the US.

great review!! I'll be on the July 23rd sailing so this is really making me vacation happy.

I love that it has the buffett with the hot dogs, fries and cheese sauce. I missed that on the ships with the Guys Burgers. Thank you for sharing that picture!!

I have 2 questions if I may ask please. I thought I read Ectasy had the hub and social media plan but carnival's website doesn't list it. So does it? :)

And where is the movie shown since there is no big screen by the pool?
