Yes, I've read in many places that people consider the new locks "boring" compared to the old, so that's another reason I would like to hear from people that have done it. Looking for feedback from anyone who has reserved Sanctuary seating during a partial transit Panama Canal cruise (on Caribbean Princess). I sailed on Coral Princess for a full transit and lucked out beyond belief that they gave me a cabana to myself for the same price as a single lounger for the entire sailing, including Panama Canal day, and that experience was unquestionably worth the price. Does Princess do a special experience for partial transit, and would you recommend it on the Caribbean Princess? We sail in four days so thanks for any input! It will determine whether I sprint straight there or not 😅🛳

We had droves of sales people offering dining and drink packages as well as sushi making classes, etc on our most recent two cruises (Grandeur and Adventure). Boarding the Jewel tomorrow so we will see! We love the specialty dining options and when you get them at a discount it's well worth it (IMO).

I have booked more than three nights individually so am actually paying more than we would by using the package, that's disappointing! I just don't like buying the package because I want to choose my own restaurant and time for the first/second night. Thanks for the info!

I read that there is a 40% discount on bottles of wine while dining in specialty restaurants, but have a couple questions: First: Does the 40% off apply for us if we have not purchased a beverage or dining package? We made our reservations for each restaurant individually. Second: If the discount applies to all customers eating at specialty venues, will the menu prices reflect that discount or is it applied at checkout? Thanks for any information! 🍾
