Sorry about the fan mistake.
I still don't think there is a place to plug one in on the balcony. We are usually too cold inside so don't bring one although I know some like the white noise it makes. I cannot imagine lugging a full size box fan onto a ship but I suppose everyone travels differently!!
We bought small ones that use batteries, so we can use them anywhere in our room our balcony.

This has been great to watch....thanks for sharing....I will be on this ship next year!

IMPORTANT ITINERARY UPDATE
CARNIVAL LIBERTY
MAY 21, 2016
May 19, 2016
Dear Carnival Liberty Guest,
We would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of some important information about your upcoming cruise on Carnival Liberty. The cruise will depart on Saturday, May 21 as scheduled, but will return to Galveston one day early on Wednesday, May 25. You are welcome to remain onboard and disembark on Thursday morning as originally scheduled. Unfortunately, this means we will have to cancel our call to Progreso.
We want to apologize for making this significant change to your cruise. However, Carnival Liberty has experienced a technical issue with the bow thrusters, which are used during docking maneuvers. In order to facilitate the required repairs, important work will need to be completed on Wednesday during the ship's stay in Galveston. This work will have no impact on any of the hotel services onboard or your guest experience.
Please understand the bow thruster issue will not impact the docking maneuvers in Galveston or Cozumel for your cruise. We have secured tug boat assistance in both ports and just wanted you to be aware of this in the event you see them during the cruise.
Below is our revised itinerary:
DAY PORT ARRIVE DEPART
SAT Galveston, TX 4:00 PM
SUN Fun Day @ Sea
MON Cozumel, Mexico 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
TUE Fun Day @ Sea
WED Galveston, TX 8:00 AM Overnight
THU Galveston, TX Disembark
If you elect to stay onboard Wednesday, you will be able to go ashore to explore Galveston and enjoy a fun-filled evening of entertainment onboard the Carnival Liberty. You will also have the option to disembark on Wednesday and proceed home.
Guests who sail will be provided with the following:
• One day refund of your cruise fare to be processed within three weeks to your original form of payment
• $100 per person onboard credit
Carnival shore excursions for Cozumel will operate as normal. Pre-purchased Carnival tours for Progreso, as well as any related taxes, fees, and port expenses will be automatically refunded to your onboard Sail and Sign account.
Additionally, should you change your return flight for Wednesday, we will reimburse you for any airline change fees you may incur, up to $200 per person. Please submit your receipts to guestcare@carnival.com so we can process a refund.
In the event you elect to cancel your cruise (and we hope you don't), we will provide you with a full refund of your cruise fare. Please call 1-800-CARNIVAL or your travel professional to let us know if you wish to cancel.
Most importantly, we want to say how sorry we are for making this change to your cruise. We know how precious your vacation time is and sincerely regret we are unable to provide you with the cruise experience you expected. Rest assured our officers, staff and crew will do everything possible to provide you with a fun and memorable cruise aboard the beautiful Carnival Liberty.
We look forward to welcoming you onboard.
Sincerely,
Arlene Marichal

Just booked my first cruise on the Liberty in September 2017 and was trying to see if anyone had any photos or anything to say about this room. Most of what I found searching here was old information, so if anyone has any new photos or likes/dislikes on this room, I would really appreciate it! TIA

If you book before April 30th, you can take advantage of the reduced deposit deal.
I will check that out, thanks !

I love to plan our vacations also. Getting ready to book my first cruise next week! Looking forward to getting some ideas for making plans!

My friend, her husband and 1 year will be on the Breeze in Oct. She had some questions about the things offered for the young children. One of here questions was are they allowed to keep the kids in the children' s program (I can't remember what it's called, sorry) while they go on an excursion? Can you share some information on the kids program, what they do, times, rules.....Also, she thought she heard that if your child wasn't potty trained, they could not go in the pool on the ship? Do you know anything about that. I told her about Cruise Critic and I am hoping she will check it out too, but these are her main questions for now....thanks in advance....J

I think I heard that this hotel does a cruise and park rate, do you know anything about that? Thank you for your review, some of the hotel prices I have seen are really high, so I will be looking into this one for sure. Also, how many days/months ahead of your cruise did you book the hotel?
-
Yes, please post a photo or two...never heard of this bag, but super interested in it now. Planning on my first cruise next year and was trying to figure out how to keep stuff safe and still swim if I want to, and this bag seems perfect.
-
Yes, how do you keep your stuff safe if you want to go in the pool? Keep it in you room makes sense, but you never know if you will want to take a photo, need to buy something, suggestions?

Thank you very much!

Loving your review...can't wait for more!

We actually enjoy shopping on the pier. Haven't noticed much difference in the prices between there and in town and the vendors aren't as pushy. My next cruise will be my 8th or 9th time to Progreso and we are only getting off the ship to shop a little on the pier then getting back onboard to enjoy the less crowded ship.
Thank you, that is exactly what we were wanting to do, get off the ship, shop see the beach and get back on the boat. Is it pretty easy to do that? Do I understand correctly that they will bus/shuttle you off the pier (for free), then will they drop you off right there at the shopping/beach or will they take you in town? I have been researching the heck out of this and the TA I have gone to said a couple of times there you can't see a beach unless you take an excursion. Google maps seems to show otherwise, but you are one of the first I have found to agree with Google maps.....Any info you can share about that is much appreciated!

The buses will drop you off in the shopping area with relentless vendors, as someone else said. We walked towards the water, ignoring everything, turned right and kept walking until people stopped yelling. It didn't take long and we ended up at Resturante Pelicanos (adorable yellow building). Had a cute shaded area with tables on the beach and we were able to have a table for food and drinks but swim and lay on the sand too. Had great service and enjoyed the local flair. It was simple but we had a great time.
Question, when you say the buses drop you off in the shopping area, is that at the end of the pier or a few blocks in town? We just want to get off the pier, walk the beach a bit and return to the boat.
-
Another question if I may, Are your only options of getting off the Pier using the buses, can you use a taxi to just drop you off at the end of the pier? Just trying to plan, thank you for your help.

I new to cruising...planning my first one September 2017. Hoping to lock in the date in the next 2 weeks. Hoping to learn as much as I can, thanks.

Just saw this post about robes, do you know if they offer different sizes or is it a one size fits "some"?
