  1. I didn't want to post and interrupt the flow of your review. Now seems like a good time to say that I always enjoy your reviews and am especially interested in the ship on this one . I am going to be going on the Vision next year, but not to Panama which I have enjoyed in the past. this time we will be doing Russia and the Baltics. Only sailing that has 3 days in St. Petersburg, so we plan to fly over to Moscow for the middle day. Come join us.

  2. I echo all of the previous praises of your review. If you don't currently do such things as a profession, you should start. I am willing to bet that you would not have much trouble finding a publisher. Am doing the Magic TA and am looking forward to being back in Barcelona. Did the Med from there last year and have been there in the past on a land tour. I never came close to having all the wonderful photographic memories that you have shared, let alone the 100's more I'm sure you have. Thanks so very much.

  3. The problem we are having is that our cruise is 12 days which actually means we need 13 days of parking (the way most hotels calculate parking). We are still looking for a decent downtown hotel that would include that much parking in a package but so far with no results. We can drive to the port in less than 1 1/2 hours so parking at the port remains our best option until we can find a hotel, park, cruise package that is less than the $180 charged for port parking.

Check Fairfield White Marsh. It was very nice, included parking and took us to the pier and picked us up at the end. Total was $146.00. That was last year. Very nice hotel. Quite new and fabulous location.

  4. I thought I was at the point where my interest in the food had become minimal. After all, I've been on over 40 cruises. However, after reading these menus, I think it will be as much of a gastronomic wonder as my first few cruises, with even more choices and quality. I truly believe this is going to turn out to be THE ship. Not Oasis or Allure or any of the other touted newcomers, the EPIC. It has the best of everything one could want. Can't wait to hear from the first Caribbean cruisers.

  5. Victor is very determined that all of his guests have a great experience so I don't think you really need to request a certain guide. They are all excellent or they don't work for Victor. In the beginning, he had only one monkey so that people could play with one without spending extra money to do so. Now, there are several as well as other animals which is why there is now a $3.00 fee which helps take care of the animals. It is much more of an "up close and personal" encounter with the animals than you would get elsewhere.

  6. Sailing out of Tampa Feb. 9. Night before is booked at ESA Tampa for $112.00 plus tax. Free suttle from airport, but $10.00 per peson to pier. Told that taxi from pier is about $25.00, equals about $160.00.Does anyone know if these transpo figures are accurate? If not, Holdiay Express Tampa is offering airport to hotel; hotel to pier; and pier to airport for $159.00 plus tax so I figure about $175.00 with taxes. Any input would be appreciated.Really hate to pay so much to get to the cruise, but live in upstate NY and don't dare to fly down on cruise day.
