Hey everyone,
Are there any Diamond Plus members that can send me (or post here) a copy of the letter they received in their cabin about benefits on current sailings?
I know its 5 drinks for DP, but someone said there is a BOGO for chops ?
would just like to see what we can expect, cruising on the adventure in 3 weeks!
Thanks,
Mike

Dumb question, is steam room and sauna open on advenuture of the seas

Good morning, just wondering if anyone has any insight on early departure from Adventure in Nassau. I know in the past it wasn't a problem. Diamond Plus members and need to be at Nassau airport by 9:00AM as American moved us to an 11:05AM flight from Nassau to Miami.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

This is a safety issue, not a human rights or liberties issue.
My right to be safe and enjoy a vacation should not be trumped by people refusing to get vaccinated and wanting the same treatment as those that are.
This is a bait and switch. We all booked cruises under the policy of vaccines. Now they just decide to change it? Irresponsible and unconscionable.
I agree 100% !!! I am totally shocked at Royal Caribbean's decision. What are they thinking?? Oh, I know, they're thinkin about $$$$$
Just wait and see, someone (or several) unvaccinated guests will get sick, the cruise will get shortened or cancelled, everyone on the ship will be stuck, and the mess starts all over again. And you know if this happens, the CDC will pull the plug on cruising again.. Stupid decision Royal Caribbean....

According to the Nassau airport authority ( I called them yesterday), they said these prices and other prices listed are extremely low....rates are much higher since covid....
but actually who cares, these guys need to make money, and we need to go on a cruise.
I'm sure we can afford a taxi ride from the airport to downtown or paradise island

Arriving Nassau a day early and Royal Caribbean transfers are NOT available. A Taxi it is !!!

Hey everyone,
Does anyone have any input about limo/transfer companies from the Nassau airport to the Hilton? Emailed Bahamas Experience and they came back with a one way price of USD $130.00.......any comments are welcomed,
Thanks,
Mike

Considering I booked room for 4 and easily added 5th into it I would say the ship will be swelling 😉

Good morning, just wondering if anyone actually knows or has heard what the capacity will be on the Adventure out of Nassau. Not that I really care, we are confirmed and cruising, just strange that nobody, even Royal Caribbean, Crown & Anchor, Diamond Plus desk, nobody, can say if they are selling the cruises to 100% capacity or limiting them to say, maybe 50% ??
Actually, Royal Caribbean Diamond Plus desk confirmed yesterday that sailings on the Adventure of the Seas from Nassau are being sold to only 50% capacity !!

I asked this same question on their Facebook page a week ago. This was the response. (It seems like they would have made that decision prior to bookings so I suspect the answer is we will fill as many cabins as we can! )
Looking forward to sailing with you, Helene. We're still working on finalizing those details and once we do, we'll make sure to share with all our guests. -Shir-
LikeI'm sure if we all called right now, we would all receive different answers lol.....

Just spoke to Crown & Anchor, they said that as of now, there is no word on capacity limits on the sailings (I checked on Nassau cruises for this summer). But they did confirm that anyone flying back to the USA the SAME day when the ship returns to port, Royal Caribbean will provide Covid-19 tests for passengers to provide to your Airline in order to fly home. The rep said you will have to show confirmation of your airline reservation. If you are staying in Nassau after the cruise, you will have to get tested on your own for your return trip.
We're ready, lets cruise !!!! 😎
-
BUT....what I'm wondering is, if Royal Caribbean has to set a max passenger capacity out of Nassau as regulations not governed by the CDC......Like I said, don't really care either way, we ARE going (and we are vaccinated). Flights/Hotels readily available before/after the cruise on Sep 4th.

Just wondering, has anyone seen or heard of Royal Caribbean putting some type of capacity cap on their summer cruises (specifically from Nassau) ?
Not too worried about it, but it might be nice to experience a cruise with only say 70%, 60%, even 50% of the normal passenger capacity onboard.
Either way, we are cruising this summer on the Adventure of the Seas from Nassau, we are Diamond Plus, and yes, we love Royal Caribbean.

YES ! Already received both doses of the vaccine, ready to Cruise !!

I just spoke to Crown & Anchor yesterday, as we had 1 FCC we used for a May booking which was cancelled, so our new booking in November is under deposit, and they said that BOTH FCC's can be applied to our new booking once received. They advised we should have our FCC's on May 22nd, lets see what happens.

Apologies in advance but I can't seem to search this for the answer.
We now have 3 FCC's each and maybe shortly 4 if or when our September TA is cancelled, we do have one booked for 2021 but looking to make a new booking for Alaska, is there a limit on how many FCC's I can use against another booking? As they have to be used by the end on 2021 I am wondering whether to take some as a refund if RCI have any limitations on maybe one FCC per booking etc.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone on the Independence of the Seas Nov 26th? (Happy Thanksgiving)

Does anyone know if Independence & Navigator still have their sauna/steam room? Recently (Feb) was on Voyager and it was removed.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Just booked for March 2021, As far as I can tell it's still there according to deck plan....I hope so, also enjoy the steam/sauna which it looks like Royal Caribbean is slowly getting rid of. Keep us up to date when you go.
Just got off the Voyager and steam/sauna was removed

Has anyone been on the Voyager recently since they've moved the gym to the rear of the ship? Just wondering if there is still a sauna/steam room in the locker rooms or if they have been removed. Thanks
