  1. I guess that's one of my big questions. I will email them but do you know is there a place in the beach or resort area if we fell like we want to go zip lining we can go up to(like a booth or something) or do we need to try to find a ride up to the zip lines first. Do you think I would have time to do both of these or should I just try to zip line in Belize instead

  2. Hello all,

I have booked the tabyana beach excursion break. From what I have been reading it is an all day excursion. We are in port from 8am-6pm. My question is there a way we could somehow go to south shore zipline during the day after we arrive at the beach on our own? I looks likes it's only about 5 mins from the beach but don't know about transportation there and back. Any advice would be great. I didn't want to book a zipline excursion because we love to snorkel and I wanted to do it as look as we could be if we have the time we would like this also. Thanks for any input. Main questions I have is can we get transportation and has anyone ever tried to just walk up and and zipline at south shore zipline. TIA

  3. I have searched and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to see what excursions are available for a cruise date. I have a few dates in mind and I would pick by what is available. I can't seem to find a way to see exactly what is sold out. Things like FTTF are extremely important to me and I am spoiled by it. If one of the dates had it now and one didn't I would go with that one. Anyone know how to see this online? Thanks

  4. We were worried about being to crowded and we went in the summer. I thought it was fine. We live in a small town and you could be in the middle of things or get in less crowded areas. We were early risers and there were times in the morning you would think we were to only ones on the ship.

1)The only food that is extra price is the steakhouse and some of the items on room service. Rest is included.

2)depends which dining room you are eating at. One aft(back) one middle of ship. Anytime dining in middle also. 5th level.

3)the steward will have you just unload it and store it in your room.

    4) I heard it was good but there is so much food that is included we did not go to it. The main was good so didn't feel we needed to eat there. (Make sure y'all bring business casual clothes or better for dining) they would let my son go with shorts except the first day

  5. Me and my wife did not get the drink package. They have juices and lemonade. We took a 12 pack of cokes for us to drink in the stateroom fridge. We didn't drink them all in 7 days. Did not miss cokes. We did buy it for our son and he tore it up. He would get drinks all the time. If the kids like pizza they will never run out of food. There is plenty of food for the kids. Room service is free also. They do have a pay part but a lot is free just remember that if they have the drink package the drinks are not free with room service. I don't know how old your are but I felt like me and my wife cruised alone he was out with friend he made so much. He didn't know anyone when we got on the ship and he is shy sometimes. By the end of the cruise he was the social director. He had a great time. The food was very good on the ship. There was plenty even if you are a picky eater

  6. The seas were not that bad. I am not a good judge of thing because I was in the perfect storm when I was in the coast guard. The seas were at most 10 foot one night. I slept like a baby. It was my wife's first time at sea and she had a headache and took a sick sick pill and she was fine. She only felt bad for a few hours the one night. I would not worry about it. Just remember if the seas are really rough to take it slow till your body gets used to it. That is the key take you time and don't make big fast movements. That's what gets everyone. I hope that helps

  7. One thing that surprised me was how clean the ship was. I also loved how friendly the staff was to you. There were some passangers I saw who were there that did not allow themselves to have any fun and they were pussed at anything they could be. I think those are the ones that post negative comments on this board. I never saw any worker that was rude. They were all about customer service even when the guest didn't deserve to be talked nice too. They all repeated your name when they saw it. It was nice and personal. It maybe because the only Americans I saw working on the ship were a few performers and the comedians. The rest of the staff is foreign me they go out of their way to serve you. A few people I talked to were surprised there were not more American workers till I pointed out that it is a foreign registered ship (Panama which most are) so they don't fall under US hiring laws. It was cool to talk to people from all over the world. Make sure you get to know them and talk to them as much as you can they have cool stories to tell. Also if you get jojo as your steward he is awesome anytime he saw us in the hall he would great us by name and was so polite. He is a great guy.

  8. One tip I have is if you are a early eater of late eater you can go anywhere in the food areas and it seems like the ship does not have a lot of people on it. We never usually had to wait in line for anything. If you can get anytime dining do that and you will never hardly wait to eat if you go outside of 6 & 8:30 (normal crowded eating times) you go do other things while everyone else is eating and you can have the ship to yourself. Also if you go the adult comedy show make sure you are lined up no less than 30 to 45 min before show starts if you want seats. Remember that a lot of people will stay for second show 9:30(first) & 10:30(second) and seats are hard to get if you go to second only. My suggestion is that if you want to be near stage 1 hour min show up (8:30) and watch both shows. They are very funny we liked ours a lot. We went to both pg and 18+ they were both funny but 18+ was funnier of coarse.

  9. Do know about the habana bar. I never saw it when it was open. It must not have long hours.

The one thing I didn't like was it always seemed like they closed the pools and hot tubs a lot durning hours it should have been open for chlorination. Wish tell had a update on the app so you didn't go to a pool or hot tub across the ship and it be closed. It would nice if they had a time of day listed for reopening of them. Seems like it happened a lot at evening when people would want to use them. It is not a major problem just wish they would do all that durning closing hours so we could enjoy them more it got frustrating sometimes to find an open one.

As for the casino I am a non-smoker and it really only bothered me when I was near the bar area of it. A lot of people lighting up in that area. But it did not bother me in the playing area. It was not near a bad as some casinos I have been to in winstar or Shreveport. My cloths didn't stink days after in the room after being there. We played almost everyday.

  10. Just wanted to follow up. Just got back from the freedom today. We bought the basic internet plan and it worked fine for doing college work and surfing sites. Was not fast enough to stream video but was able to go to other sites fine. FYI you don't have to buy it on each phone you can log in on different phones or computers that has your login info. All my family was able to log in at different time to download emails or surf. Just remember if the other person clicks login on different computer the current person will be logged off. Any questions anyone has bplease ask.

  11. I was wondering from any of you who have been on the freedom lately how the speeds for the Internet are? I ask because my wife has to take one of her college test while we are underway. Will she be able to log into the college website and take the timed test. Also we won't have a laptop so can she do it from a ship board computer. Any help on which package to get for the one day. Thanks.

  12. I am for sure not one to be pushing to the front I hate those people. I am just one of those people that is first in line for everything. I believe in the saying early bird gets the worm. We usually don't stress on vacation because most people aren't early birds like us. We are usually the ones having fun early instead of sleeping in. We like being prepared and knowing what what we are doing so we can relax when the vacation starts because all is planned it is easier to deal with the unexpected when you have planned. That's just the way we are. But I will love that on the ship we really don't have to plan much we just know what we want to do and their is a lot of relaxing in that plan. Just want to make sure this excursion goes smoothly as possible. Thanks for the advice. I agree relax is the first thing.
