I think I'm gonna cancel my cruise to the eastern carribean. The damage from Irma could be catastrophic and I really don't want to switch to the western. My cruise is in 4 months. I have 5 more weeks before my final payment.

My trip in 2016I went the last fewdays of august into the 1st few days of sept. Only rained 1 day.

Yeah I'm gonna take a wait and see approach. If there is alot of damage to bvi st thomas and nassau. I'm gonna look at western. My final payment is not due for 5 weeks.

I've decided after reading all the comments. That I'm gonna stick with my gut and stay on the escape. I'm gonna bump up my obc to $400. And whatever offer I get to bid on I will certainly look at it. I really appreciate all the feedback.

And our inside cabin is on the 11th deck towards the back of the ship . But hey if we get to bid on an upgrade I will submit a price

300 on board credit will be eno ugh for the 2 of us for drinks . That's the plan anyway. We wanted to try out the specialty dining.

Last year was the cruise for my better half getting the balcony for alaska for her 50th. And that was worth it. For me if we could have afforded the better cabin on the escape I would have.

Did I make the right call getting a inside cabin. All this stuff is spinning in my head. I have to make my final payment in 6 weeks

My concerns. Did I make the right call choosing dining package over beverage package. Will they change the stops because of storms between now and then. Will they send me an email for an upgrade .

I have am booked on the escape for a cruise in janurary. This will be my 2nd ever cruise. I went to alaska in 2016 with royal carribean. I'm worried that I've made the wrong call for the trip to the carribean. Part of me wants to stay with ncl. Part of me wants to book with royal carribean on the allure. I had a balcony cabin for alaska. I have a inside cabin on the escape . I have the dining package. This is a cruise for my 50th birthday. I need some advice from the veteran cruisers assuring me I've made the right call.

Ask on the port of call boards for BVI, but I haven't heard any reports of significant damage. No hurricanes have passed through in some time. Keep an eye on Irma. Don't know if it's going to slide south or not.

I recently saw an article that tortola suffered lots of damage from a storm earlier this month. Are the norweigian ships changing to a different stop. I'm on the escape in about 4 months and am concerned about booking any excursions.

Don't worry so much about location as it relates to motion no matter how many times it is repeated on here. Sure, being on higher decks or forward may slightly increase motion but it will not be perceivable. I have cruised for years with my wife who is very motion sensitive. When things get bad changing location does nothing. It isn't like you can be on deck 10 thinking 'this is rough' and then go to deck 3 and think 'this is much better'. It is a large ship with stabilizers, it doesn't ride the waves like a pontoon boat.

Hello everyone I'm booked on the escape in janurary. 1st time with ncl. We have booked a inside cabin on the 11th deck towards the back of the ship. 11675 is the number. I'm just wanting some feedback about the cabins. Thanks so much for any tips and suggestions.

So I was thinking about booking a cruise the Escape for my birthday which is the second week in January I was wondering if it will be less crowded with kids due to the fact that the kids are going back to school after the Christmas break is over. I was planning on getting a inside cabin.

I was looking at booking the escape for my birthday in January. The cruise departs 2 days after. My birthday is the 11th. What are the chances it's less crowded cause school will be starting after the holidays.
