  1. Following this. When refer to booking the fixed priced places first, do you just make the reservation first regardless of what day of the cruise it is or do you make the reservation to eat at those first? Example if 1st reservation I make is for Teppanyaki on the 4th day of cruise and then one at Cagney's for 2nd day of cruise does that have any effect

  2. We booked a European cruise last year for this past June. We were unable to go so before final payment we changed the cruise to an Alaskan cruise for June 2024. We booked the original cruise with a non refundable deposit and paid the $100 change fee when booked the Alaskan cruise.

We have yet to make any other payments.

As of now it looks like 2 out of the 5 people who are going are unable to do the Alaskan cruise (2 in one room, 3 in another). At this point we decided instead of changing again, since do not know when we would be able cruise, we decided to just eat the loss of the deposits and book at another time.

Our TA advised us there is a $75 cancellation charge. Is this true?

Are final payment isn’t due til 02/24.

I can’t believe they would charge us a fee in addition to our loss of deposit.
    Any info would help.

    Thanks

  3. Sorry if been asked but we’ve never brought wine onboard before. Leaving next week and just want to know if we pack it with our luggage or carry it on? And is there a limit on how many bottles? Have beverage package so not worried about corkage fees.

  4. Recently booked a European and put a $250 non refundable deposits. Have since decided to change the cruise to an Alaskan cruise. We were advised that since deposit was non refundable we lose $100 of deposit to change cruise.

My question. If we book new cruise and price goes down before final payment, if we reprice the cruise would they hit us with another $100 fee to change? Want all info I can get before change the booking. Thanks for any info.

  5. Agree with @julig22. What port?

was on the Dawn end of December and arrived at port at 10:25 and was on the ship at 11:15.
Did not experience anything like the OP did. We would go down for chairs at the pool at 7 and there were towels already there, but plenty of chairs if people came around 8 and did see attendant removing towels from chairs that no one was in.

Ship was in good shape and as far as dinner, if researched NCL would have realized you can make reservations for dinner at the MDR’s if not willing to wait.

  6. Was on the Sawn during the college football semi finals. They were not scheduled to show the games and several people were complaining in O’Sheehans when the first game started s as bd it wasn’t being shown. This was on New Years Eve. Apparently others complained and by halftime they had the game on as well as the second one.

It is not "pay gratuities on drinks" it is "pay gratuities on the package". So there is zero gratuities due back, because you paid for the package.

Exactly. Gratuities are on the package. If you choose to only get 3 drinks a day that is your choice.

  8. We leave for our cruise in 3 days and have an excursion one excursion booked thru NCL.

We may need to cancel it while on board. (We won’t know if need to til a couple of days before).

If we cancel on board within the 48 hours before arrive in port, will we be refunded in OBC or would it go back to the credit card that was used to pay for it.

    Thanks for any info.
