  1. Hello,

For our cruise in December we call in Phillipsburg, which happens to be my favorite cruise port. Last time we stayed on the Dutch side, but I would like to venture over to the French side on this next trip. I am interested in a catamaran trip, preferably one that has a stop at a beach. Does anyone have any recommendations or tour companies I should look into? Thanks so much! :D

  2. Hello,

Just found a decent deal on a weekend cruise in October. It stops in Nassau, but the port time is from 12-8. If we book the cruise, I would my party would want to book the Melia Day Pass, but I hear that it ends around 5PM. What are some other resort day pass options in Nassau? If 5PM is the standard end time for all of the options, then that is okay, I just figured we would stay a little longer considering we don't arrive until 12.

Thank you for all of the help in advance!

  3. Hello,

On our upcoming cruise, we are considering spending our day in Sint Maarten on the French side at Pinel Island. I have a few questions about this:

    1) We like to use the St.Maarten local transport buses that circumnavigate the island when we visit. It's cheap and we like interacting with the locals. Where should we get off of the bus to catch the ferry?

    2) Where does the ferry depart from? I believe that is it a $6 fee. Is that roundtrip or each way?

    3) Are there beach clubs on the island to go to? If so, are they all at the main beach or are they spread out to the other beaches as well? Do these clubs have food, bathrooms, wifi, etc.

    4) I heard the main beach gets very crowded very quickly. Are the other beaches on the island good to visit? How can you get around on Pinel Island? What are their names, which do you prefer?

    5) Chair rentals. How much are they, and are they at all of the beaches? Do they take American money?

Thanks in advance for any help that any of you provide! I really appreciate it!

  4. Really enjoying your cruise review! I always use to brush off the newer ships, and give the "I'll just sail on it when something bigger and better replaces it, and the price goes down", but now I am seriously interested in trying Anthem out. I really like what I have seen so far!

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, I really enjoy your high quality photos and commentary! :D

There are three ships in drydock at the Grand Bahama Shipyard. This is where Carnival sends most of their ships to be drydocked…..
