Do you happen to know if there is a sauna around the gym, or only in the spa? In other words, would I have access to one if I don't have a spa pass?

We drove to Emerald Lake. It was a fairly long, but super scenic drive. You'll see lots of beautiful scenery along the way.

It may be for just the tournaments that you get a live dealer. They just had the screens when we were on in Jan.

Don't know for sure about Radiance, but the Explorer pools were not heated. We could only use them on Day 1 leaving Seattle and the last sea day coming back.

Just got back from Oasis. We prepaid for the First Night promo, and someone from Giovanni's called our stateroom on Day 1 to see if we would like to use the promo there. After our meal was finished, both husband and I got separate bills for $15 each. I was confused, assuming our bill would be $0, so I asked the waiter. He said we both just have to sign the receipts, and a credit would appear on our statement for both of those charges.

Well, it did not. I went to Guest Services on three different occasions to straighten it out. All three times, I was promised it would be removed within 24 hours. The third time, after waiting in line for about an hour, I let them know how many times I've tried to have the charges removed. She said there was no record of my previous two visits to guest services:mad: I had collected business cards both times, but left them in my room. Fortunately, that third time was the charm. The fees were removed!

Point of my story is, just check your balance to make sure you aren't charged for something you shouldn't be. We enjoyed the meal, and it was a great deal at just $15 pp. However, the hassle afterward detracted from the experience.

Was that on the Eastern itinerary Rosy1013? If so, that was the first sea day? What time was your Meet n Mingle?

Mine was Eastern, but last minute change of Nassau on Day 2 to San Juan at 4:30 on day 3. I think it was 9 or 9:30. Pretty early:/

Marigot is her name. She told us she's filling in as cruise director for the next 10 days or maybe she said 10 sailings. I wasn't impressed with her style.

Throughly enjoyed your report, but am so disappointed that I didn't get to meet you onboard! I was at the meet and greet, but didn't get to actually do much meeting. Ah well, maybe next time!

And to the poster asking about the Starbucks mugs, I'm almost positive there were none associated with Royal. Just the Miami and Florida "you are here" collection. I did get to pick up one in San Juan though:)

Same! I also try to stay active on the ship. I take the stairs, go to the gym, do active excursions, anything I can to stay moving. It helps!

I just signed up for it for my Oasis trip on the 22nd. I bought it hoping I would be assigned Giovannis, or at least able to switch to that. Will post back later on how it worked!

Great, that's good to know! I'd originally wanted to go to Saphire, but was daunted by the distance from Crown Bay. Do you happen to know if Paradise Point is close to either Crown Bay or Emerald beach?

Kay jay if you are with RCCL they dock near the airport. The cab ride is about $15 per person one way. Have a backup plan. That is what we did. We loved Emerald Beach.

Don't feel bad. The last three Roll Calls I've joined I felt completely left out. One person welcomed me and that was it. Several people are celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, including my sister who will celebrate her 70th birthday. I suggested we all get together for breakfast or a drink to celebrate. No one acknowledged me. A few days later someone mentioned a family member was celebrating a birthday. Someone else suggested the four of them get together for a drink to celebrate. I got the hint. So this will probably be the last time I join a Roll Call.

Sorry that happened, I would've gotten a drink with you guys!
