CG, thanks for Vibe info and pics! We are on the May 10th Panama Canal cruise, so hopefully everything will be set by then. Although, I think that we will have a much fuller ship.

does the shore excursion credit come off the reservation price or do they credit you card latter?

We have sailed on the Getaway and the Escape twice this year. The pools are small but we always have a great time, beverage and dining packages are considerably less with the freestyle option.

Cruising on the Oasis Nov. 5th. We feel that RCI copped out by changing our eastern to a western cruise. We don't even get to go to Labadee now and that port is open...very frustrating. They say they have this right under the fine print of terms and conditions. There will be no form of compensation. We feel that they could have at least offered some OBC or a specialty dining night....something. Customer service only gives the company line of...this is the way it is...sorry.

We print off our luggage tags on heavy paper and then place wide tape over the printed side so the ink can't run if it would get wet. We put our home address info on the little store bought tags.

You might want to try NCL where you are never assigned a dinner time or seating....freestyle it and enjoy being with new friends on a cruise.
