Hi everyone,

We're going on the Celebrity Millennium in October. We'll start in Yokohama and visiting, Shimizu, Kobe, Hiroshima, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Jeju and Busan (S. Korea) before ending in Shanghai.

Does anyone have a list of shore excursions offered by Celebrity for these ports, with prices? I've tried to look online on Celebrity.com but couldn't find the information. Perhaps someone has a pdf, excel or scanned document to share?

From your experience, what is the earliest time that I should book for my international flight back to the US on the same day? Would a 12:00 pm flight be okay?

Hi all,

We are going on the same ship in November from Nuremberg to Vienna.

Questions:

1) Do you know where the ship docked in Nuremberg? We are not taking their transfer.

2) Can you wear jeans to dinner? We are doing a 1 1/2 weeks land trip in Germany & Czech Republic on our own before getting on the ship and don't want to bring too much luggage.

3) In Vienna, did the ship dock at Donaustationen Nr. 29 on Heiligenstädter Strasse or Donaustationen Nr. 34 on Relegasse in Nussdorf?

4) In Passau, do you remember when the ship moved later to pick up the rest of the passengers who did the Salzburg tours? We are planning to take a side trip to Landshut, Germany (1hr away from Passau) while everyone is visiting Salzburg (we've been there before). We're hoping that the ship moved from Passau later in the afternoon so as to give us time to return to the ship before it moves.

5) Do you remember where the ship docked after it moved from Passau?

We have a group of 10 people and would like to do a tour when we visit Gibraltar in October.

I know there are vans and taxis at the port available for tours. However, I'm not sure if those vans can take 10 people.

Can someone give me info if they have been in a 10+ seater or seen those vehicles at the port?

Hi All,

Our group of 14 did a private tour of Corinth, Mycenae and Nafplion from Pireaus last month (Oct 2013) and used the service of PK Travel.

I can not recommend them enough. As others have said, their service was exceptional, from the prompt email replies (thanks Potoula) to the punctual greeting at the port and the day with Paul our driver and Georgia our guide. Everything went as planned and could not have been better.

Thank you PK Travel for making this trip back to Greece a wonderful one. We will definitely use you again, without any hesistation.

I just came back from the Celebrity Constellation on our Black Sea Cruise and did private tours for most of the ports.

Bourgas, Bulgaria: We docked at the brand new terminal and had a private tour with 16 people. We visited Nessebar, St. George Monastery and Salt Mine near in Pomorie as well as the Thracian Beehive tomb nearby. I've used the service of Alexsander Shopov. He was fantastic. Highly recommend him.

Athens, Greece: We had a group of 14 and used PK Travel to visit Corinth, Mycenae and Napflion since we have all visited Athens previously.

Kusadasi, Turkey: Our group of 4 used a taxi driver, Erkan Ozcetin, that was recommended to visit Priene, Miletus and Didyma.

Yalta & Sevastopol, Ukraine: In both ports, we used the service of sergey-private-guide.com service. We had wonderful guides at each city. For Yalta, we visited Alupka Palace, Swallows nest, St. Michael Church, Livadia Palace. For Sevastopol, we had the Assumption Cave Monastery, Khan's Palace, Inkerman Cave Monastery, Balaclava Submarine and the Panorama Museum on our itinerary.

All in all, we had great tours.

Our group of 16 on the Celebrity Constellation just came back from the Black Sea cruise and had a wonderful tour with a very fantastic guide, Aleksander Shopov. I got his name and email through a recommended guide on Tripadvisor. We all would gladly use him again.

I don't know about the company you mentioned. I've organized a tour to Nessebar and Pomorie but did not do the wine tasting.

Hi everyone,

We have returned from our Legend of the Seas May 8th trip visiting Phuket.

We used a private driver that was recommended on the web and were very happy with his service. We had 6 people total but could have added 2 more in our van. Our driver, Daj, was very accommodating in what we wanted to see and never rushed us or sent us to any stores. We paid less than $20 per person sharing the van. We would definitely use him again.

He had a board with photos and map of the island and we just picked where we wanted to go. We ended up seeing the Seashell museum, the Big Budha, Cashews Factory (we wanted to go here), the multiple scenic points, elephant and monkey area (can't recall the name), and had a nice lunch plus a foot massage.

Here's another recommendation by someone on virtualtourist.

Travel with Daj in style, he has a new van and it looks fantastic. Check out the dvd screen and all the speakers in the van, the seats look very comfortable as well.

Daj is a driver that we can personally recommend as we have used him many times for airport transfers, shopping trips to Phuket Town Markets and transport to and from Rawai.

He is an delight to be around, speaks very good English and knows absolutely everything about Phuket as he was born and raised there.

He can advise you on the best places to shop, great local restaurants. what sights to see etc.

Let him plan a day out for you, or if you prefer - organize your own.

Daj does airport transfers, full or half day tours, actually nothing is to much trouble for him and his prices are very competitive.

You will not regret hiring Daj, he is a very safe driver and we trust him completely, he also has a fantastic sense of humor!

Another very important point to consider when hiring a driver is that they are fully licensed and insured to carry passengers which Daj is!
