Sad to say good-bye. It was an awesome trip! Signature Suite 6113, the BEST!

Well worth the cost of the upgrade. It had room for 4 with a sleep sofa. The balcony was wonderful. Enjoyed the table & 2 chairs for afternoon tea and the other 2 chairs with foot stools for generally just hanging out on the balcony.

    Enjoy!

  2. We were on this same cruise. Cabin 10127 was plenty cool and also had the mini fridge. Lots of storage with plenty of hangers. We loved the Steakhouse and went twice. Great service there and great food. Thought the production shows were great and with good sight lines in the Liquid Lounge. Two comics were great. Two were lame which is usual for us. Easy to get a good seat if you were in line about 10 minutes before they opened the doors. Service was slow for the anytime dining.

Loved Guy's Burgers, Mexican Cantina and The Havana Bar. Fastest omelet service in the Havana Bar than any other cruise I have been on. Great Cuban foods in the bar. Also liked the Taste Bar for breakfast and some lunches.

Biggest Serenity Deck and always able to find a seat.

Disembarkment was a breeze but hey I'm Platinum.😊😊 Nice to have perks.

My mom is platinum, so thanks for letting me know the "perks" help.

I'm excited about Jamie D. Never heard of her but sounds like I'm in for a treat.

Looking forward to tomorrow as we start our trip northward. Hoping for a dry drive.

  3. Thank you :D:D:D

it will be a 29day cruise (our longest was 14days before) so we wan't to make sure to have a good cabin and balcony ;)

and on the beginning of November we had the aft cabin and some rough sea - so we now know that an aft cabin and really really rough sea won't be good for us

UGH! We are in an aft and the seas are pretty rough right now. Hopefully it settles down soon. Otherwise, I'll be getting a lot of rest!

  4. Nevermind - I found a very good post where Warm Waters compiled a bunch of info.

I'm looking for this also, can you post? I saw a tour of the Island and I would like to do that since they say there are stingrays and horses. It's only 45 minutes but I would love to get the full view.

  5. I know I've lost more than $1500 on Carnival and have never been offered a free cruise. I did get the drinks on us card. I'm not sure if I am a Players Card Member. I guess I will check before my next one.

I also don't always use Carnival either, so maybe that makes a difference.

  6. I will be sailing on Vision June 23.

I have Celiac and look forward to seeing how that goes.

Any day on a cruise ship is a much better day than on land. I don't worry about the bad reviews, everyone is entitled to their opinions.

I don't think your daughter will be bored at all. She will have a wonderful time. It took some time, but I love traveling with my mom. Precious moments!

    Relax, you're going on vacation!

  7. Jan 9th Ruby 4-nighter still isn't sold out (even after the "Getaways" promotion). Wish they'd waive the single supplement! Only 6 days to go and wouldn't you think they'd want to fill the ship?

They are now selling inside cabins for $149! What a steal! Jan 9th, I'm on it!

  8. I'm on the MSC Divina next week which brings us from Miami to Port Canaveral. I live in Florida, so I've been to the Space Center etc. Any suggestions as to anything to do around the Port? Anything within walking distance?

I left from this port years ago, but I'm thinking there must be something close by.

I visit Cocoa and Melbourne often to see friends and I've done those city tours.

    Thanks
