  1. It is a mess now.

I just got off the phone with Princess. They claim they are working on the promotion today and erroneous confirmations were sent out. They are working currently to fix the problem and will send new confirmations once it is fixed. Recommend you watch your bookings over the next few days and insure your prices are correct...Stay tuned cuz I get the feeling this is not over...

  2. wow, the prices are great, the cruise on 4/7 is cheaper then the taxes ($28.40 + $70 tax). lol Can't believe that's possible.

How rough is the water? Seems the lowest prices are forward. What's the opinion on deck and how bad are forward cabins.

Not sure if doing the same ports, the same entertainment, etc, etc for that long would get boring, but, as long as the weather is calm, I think I can make it work. ha ha ha

I pop dramamine during my cruises and normally don't have much of problem unless the ship runs into really bad weather. I avoided the upper cabins and opted for Deck 8 on the Sapphire.

I figure I can space out the the shows, etc to my liking during the 3 cruises, and it will be great to get some reading in!

OBTW: Military active duty, retired, and veterans...I found a page under the Princess website "Cruisedeals" tab that talks about how to get OBC for the cruises. I'm going to try to get that as I only have 1 cruise on Princess and no other benefits

  3. Thanks swazzie1. It is not only the 5/8 sailing, but I can see for several 3-night sailing in March and April it is only $78.40 solo, some are $158.40. For the 4-night sailing, solo rate ranges from $238.40 to $318.40.

If you don't really care where it goes to, a 6-night B2B can be done for $377, or a 10-nights B2B2B can be done for $700 all tax/fee included for a solo rate.

Thanks for the info on this! I could not resist and booked 31 Mar, 4 Apr, and 7 Apr for $550 total inside cabin (same cabin for all dates). Not bad for a 10 day B2B2B since I enjoy just being on the ship.

  4. Just booked RCCL Navigator of the seas 10-24 Nov 2013 Transatlantic from Barcelona to Galveston...$851.65 total for an Inside single occ.

I used a Nextcruise cert, so will have OBC; There is also currently a C&A cert if you are a member...brought my total to $732.61!

Did my first Transatlantic last year and loved it!! :) This one does not have a lot of ports, but I love the sea days

If you're eligible for the RCCL military discount, the solo price for a D2 balcony on this cruise has dropped to $828 today! Total comes in at around $928 before any discounts

  6. I managed to get in on the Epic deal. I had them move me since I couldn't deal with the studio shower. they put me in a regular inside at no additional cost. But I would never sail on that ship again. I thought it was awful.

LOL...I got in on that deal also. I could handle the shower; fortunately I had enough room to turn in a circle to rinse off :o But, I had to sit in the "water closet" at a diagonal with the door open to have enough leg room!! I'd do it again, but the deal would have to be just as sweet!!

  7. Found another one!

Voyager of the Seas at 30% supplement AND low base price on December 10. Inside starting at $504 ($774 outside, $809 veranda) - yes, solo prices.

7 nights to Western Caribbean including Cozumel, Falmouth, Grand Cayman. I've never been on RCCL, but maybe it's time to try it...great price, and hits two things on my cruising bucket list: the chance to go to Dunn's Falls AND the chance to cruise a big ship!

Thanks for posting this, I love the Voyager class ships! Haven't been on Voyager for a bit; will give this SERIOUS thought because it's a great price...for some reason, took me a while to duplicate your Inside price  OBTW, check your C&A certs...I had one for this cruise!! :D

  8. Hope this isn't a duplicate post ....

Have you all checked out the November 2, 2012, 16-day RCCL Mariner of the Seas TA from Rome to Galveston? I booked an inside room ($499 base price) for $748. Right now the base price is $509. This is a steal!

Hi Judy, I've been looking at that cruise for the past week and plan to book it. A friend claims she wants to join me, so I'm trying to wait. I will probably book soon as a solo then adjust if she can join me. I don't want to miss out on this great rate!

  9. I should have said yesterday...the pricing mentioned above is for solo travelers....the pricing listed in the booking engine will come up higher until you enter the "select a cabin" page...then you will see the reduced pricing.

I had booked this sailing earlier because it had a 150% single supplement it was priced at 974. I almost fell over when NCL called yesterday to tell me that there was a price drop of over 600!

    Fantastic deal...

You're right this is an awesome deal! I'm an RCCL fan and have only sailed NCL once years ago....but for less than $500 solo, I CAN'T RESIST! I also just put a studio on hold for a Nov sailing.
