  1. You also have the benefit of priority tendering that jumps ahead of 5*, tendering with those in NS. We tried to get it on the Konigsdam for the 35 day Hawaii South Pacific and it was sold out almost immediately.
  2. Good Sunday morning. We begin the day with 52 degrees and sunshine but it is going to blow big time today. I hope I can work on sanding with the electric sander where the log stain peeled. Thanks for the Daily Rich. Ingersoll was a large defense company in Kalamazoo when I was a little child. I was the only kid in the family that escaped braces. I think I will pass on hip hop. Silly quote. Will pass on the BBQ today, we had oven BBQ ribs yesterday, today's cocktail yes, even better with dark rum. Pass on the Coppola Diamond wines, they never did anything for me. Thanks for the lovely port photos today Sandi! Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. Prayers for Annie after she was brief yesterday afternoon, I pray everything is okay with Chuck, and with her. Prayers for Tana and Terry. Prayers for everyone else who are ailing or grieving. Jacqui I hope the moving process is going along smoothly. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own. We have lucked out, each rainy day the sun has come out for a little bit so the batteries remain charged. Almost all my day lilies are still blooming and one pink Japanese Iris popped out one last bloom. I went out to fill my hummingbird feeder last night and a hen turkey and seven or eight large chicks were walking down the sidewalk. The birdseed I feed my Chipmunks must be pulling in more than just little birds. Have a nice Sunday! Nancy
  3. Another chilly, damp morning in the UP. Wind gusts to 26 today. Thanks for starting our day off each day Rich. I think dogs should be spoiled daily, never owned Spanx and hi to Paul Bunyan. A true quote. Haven't been to Samana. Pass on the salmon, enjoyed a few Pisco sours in Peru and probably would enjoy the vino. Thanks for researching these for us each day. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. Safe travels to Boston @RMLincoln. Prayers for Tana and Terry and for Annie and Chuck who soldier through battles each day. Prayers for everyone else in our group who are ailing or grieving. Prayers for Ukraine as they are taking land in Russia, for how long no one knows, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. My DN was married near Jackson Hole yesterday. It was too difficult for us to get there plus the problem of leaving plants that need water every day so we stayed home. We see her a lot up here at the cabin and she lives nearby downstate. Have a lovely Saturday. Nancy
  4. @lindaler I hope your son can work through his emergency and can return in time to make your cruise. @Heartgrove thanks for sharing Sam's last walk with us and sharing him with us over time. I truly feel for you, the hardest day for a lover of a loyal friend. 😿
  5. Here are our pics from our HIA shore excursion this January when we were on the Eurodam. We did the monkey and chocolate experience. We finally got to see some of the DR countryside. The monkeys were a hoot but they did mess up our hair.
  6. Good Friday morning! Thanks for the daily and maps Rich. Some good days to celebrate especially indigenous people. A somber but needed day in history when the atomic bomb was dropped to begin the end of WWII. We have been to Puerto Plata many times and enjoy the rum shopping opportunities it offers. No thanks to the salad and sangria but would love the Columbia River Valley Cabernet. Thanks for researching these each day. Thanks for the cares and celebrations reports Vanessa. @Haljo1935 I pray you get some relief from your pain and can get some more sleep. Popping a rib out, ouch! Continued prayers for Tana and Terri, Annie and Chuck, you go through so much we are not even aware of. Prayers for strength. Prayers for Terri, Bonnie, Pat and Jacqui. Thinking of you today Jack, @Heartgrove. Another day of rain, this called lake effect off from Lake Superior. The generator still hasn't come on because the wind started yesterday and we had several hours of bright sunshine. Hopefully more of that today. Have a good Friday! Nancy
  7. @Sharon in AZ my cat was a Maine Coon. My late DH always wanted one so when his rescue cat passed away we decided to get two cats since we traveled a lot. He got the MC and I got my Korat. She is an international cat as her breed came from Thailand in the 50s. The are called Sri Sawat which means good luck. They were my family after my DH passed away.
  8. In celebration of cat day, my two girls who are no longer with us. 😿
  9. Good morning everyone. Thanks for the daily and maps Rich. Not a digital nomad, love to create with flowers and food and cats 100% should be celebrated for the love and entertainment they give us. I don't agree with the quote. Thanks for the lovely photos of Corfu environs Sandi. I'll pass on the kebabs, the Rob Roy and will happily enjoy today's vino. Thanks for researching these for us each day! Prayers for Terri and Jim and happy that you are on higher ground so the flooding hasn't been too bad. Prayers for all in the remaining rain from Debby as she heads north. Ravens play the Eagles this weekend, it probably will be a wet game. Prayers for all in Juneau after the glacial flood. Prayers for Tana and Terry, Scotty, Bonnie and Ann and everyone else who are ailing or grieving. Good luck with the home sale process Jacqui and thank you for the lovely flower photos. Prayers for all in war zones. We have an unusual rainy day. Since I cleaned the house for our dinner party I think a long rainy day nap will be in order. We had high clouds and wind yesterday so fishing was in order. We caught two keeper Walleye and a lot of feisty bass. We had a fish fry with Wisconsin green beans and one of our few white wines we bring up here. The tempura batter made it the best fish fry of the summer. Have a nice Thursday! Nancy
  10. @Heartgrove Poppy is a darling name. Apologies, Sam is still with you. Extra hugs for him on his final days. It is always so hard but the best to relieve his suffering. @StLouisCruisers great photos of DD back to school tree. Thanks everyone for the beautiful port photos!
  11. Good Wednesday morning everyone! Thanks for the fleet maps and daily @richwmn. Packaging is either too much, (usually) or not enough. I am sure Katy Ledecky will join Michael Phelps on the professional speaking circuit. People love to be motivated by winners. In my work history we had Roger Staubach and John Wooden as motivational speakers, especially lucky to hear John Wooden. Our Purple Heart winners put their lives and bodies down for our freedom. I look forward to to photos of today's port. Pass on the soup and cocktail but the German wine should be wonderful. Thanks @summer slope @cat shepard and @dfish. Thanks for the Cares and Celebrations reports @JazzyV. @Heartgrove sympathy in the loss of your handsome dog Sam. He was beautiful. Prayers for Chuck and Annie, Tana and Terry, Terri and Jim, Bonnie, Sandi's DB Scott, Bonnie and @mamaofami as she battles COVID after effects. Prayers for any who are ailing or grieving. Jacqui I hope your moving progress continues to move along smoothly. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own, Ukraine, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. Our dinner yesterday was about perfect, other than the mountain of dishes John is facing this morning. I stored all the food and cleaned and rinsed the plates. The rest is for him. I did all of the cooking, table setting and cleaning beforehand so I don't feel bad for him. It was 44 degrees when I got up. What a difference a week makes. I worked on cleaning the logs on two sides of the cabin the last few days, today I start sanding the west wall where the sun causes the stain to peel, then stain the places I sanded. Perfect weather for that work. Have a lovely day! Nancy
  12. Good morning everyone. Thanks for the daily and maps Rich. Fresh breath is a good thing, brushing, flossing and mouthwash really work and if the problem persists an ENT visit is in order. Root beer floats are yummy and light houses are important. I look forward to photos of today's port. A good quote. I'll pass on fish in foil, I like Seven and 7's and I'll pass on the Austrian Gruner, not my favorite grape. Thanks for posting these for us each days ladies. Thanks for the Cares and Celebrations reports Vanessa. Prayers for Chuck and Annie as you face fresh battles each day. Prayers for Terri and Jim as your bear with all the rain from Debby. Prayers for Tana and Terry, I hope your aide sticks with you until you can find another and just not quit. Prayers for Jacqui as she is preparing for her move, beautiful photos of her staged home and a smooth sale process. Prayers for all others who are ailing of grieving. Prayers for Ukraine, the remaining hostages and the Innocents in Gaza. We are having two couples who are lake neighbors over for dinner. Rib roast cooked on the grill, baked beans, Caesar salad and strawberry shortcake. It will be a cool, comfortable day. Have a lovely Tuesday. Nancy
  13. @Heartgrove congratulations on your new granddaughter!
  14. Good morning everyone and thanks for the daily and maps Rich. Today's days are and were necessities. Good quote by Evans. I will pass on the high carb soup, burgers with tomato slices for us. Prayers for Terri as a deluge is headed in her direction plus all of our group in Debby's path. Prayers for Scott, Pat, @Haljo1935, Tana and Terry and everyone else who are ailing or grieving. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own. Prayers for Jacqui as you heal and continue to work on your move. Another day with some clouds. Our generator is going to turn on one of these days with all the clouds. Being between two Great Lakes causes a lot of them. I smoked ribs yesterday. I have decided I like my ribs with just a rub and not the smoke. Have a good day! Nancy
  15. Thanks for.the beautiful photos today Lenda. @Cruzin Terri prayers for you and your DH. ☔
  16. Good morning and thanks for the daily and maps @richwmn. Clouded leopards are beautiful. I will celebrate white wine day another day, I have a bottle of red open to finish tonight with ribs. Prayers for everyone who are healing, ailing or grieving. Prayers for all in war zones through no fault of their own. Congratulations to the Ukraine Ladies fencing team who won gold, their national anthem ceremony was uplifting. I am going to wash the logs on the north side of the cabin and try to weed. So many weeds thrived in the heat we had last week when it was too hot for that kind of work. Lots to get caught up on after lazing around in the heat and humidity. Have a lovely Sunday! Nancy
