    We did the "Free Walking tour of Rome" several years ago and our guide recommended a restaurant close to where we ended the tour at the fountain. It was really good. Maybe ask your guide? Also just wonder around the smaller streets to find less tourist and more authentic Roman food!

    I booked a round trip transfer (no tour guide) with Sicily Taxi Service & they have vans that hold 2-8 people. It was a fair price for 6 of us. And I got to choose my own pick up and drop off times. Previously we used the bus from the ship, but this trip we wanted more time in Taormina.

    I agree with using Ephesus Shuttle. They were great, very informative, professional and responsive to emails, etc. If I remember correctly, our tour included a buffet lunch at a farmers home and it was fabulous. You will visit the ruins - including the "library", walk all through the sacred grounds, visit Mary's house & the burial of John the Baptiste. You will not be disappointed!

    We'll be in Messina Port for one day & looking for round trip transfer from the port to Taormina? The ship offers a transfer, but we want more time than what they're offering. Suggestions? Thank you.

    We're sailing out of Rome on 9/16 & our TA said Celebrity is allowing self touring at this time. I've booked multiple tours with Independent tour groups. But, as we know....it can change daily. Everything I booked is fully refundable up to 7 days and some 48 hours before, so I'm not worried.

    We've done the Eating Europe food tour in Rome several times and LOVE them! They'll list their tours on the website. We took a transfer via Tiber Limo to the food tour and he waited and returned us back to the ship. Great day and fabulous food!
