  1. I have a question for you regarding the Penthouse on deck 6. I do not see a dressing table in the cabin other than the nightstand shows a small mirror and a chair next to the bed? Did you have a place to use blow dryer with a regular size mirror?
  2. Thank you. We will be on deck 6 next year. Hope it's not the same all over the ship. Sorry to hear it was like that in while inside the cabin.
  3. May I ask what deck or section you are on?
  4. Usually it says a government ID but most ports we've been to it wasn't needed. We do bring the ID with us anyway just in case.
  5. I don't know if anyone responded to this yet regarding the main dining rooms. On the Constellation there is only one main dining room. We were on the ship in March and the anytime dining always had a long line when they opened. If they want to go early they would probably wait awhile. If I were this couple I would definitely go on the first day and see if I could change to fixed dining (either early or late seating). When we were on the ship early was 5:30 and late ws 8:30.
  6. Yes on our recent Mariner cruise.
  7. That is correct. Just off the Mariner and had shower only. It was a great shower. The deck plan shows a star next to the cabins that have shower only. Last cruise on Mariner had a tub/shower combo and did not like the tub at all. High tub but the worst part was the shower nozzle didn't protrude enough so you had to get close to the wall to get wet. They may have fixed that by now but also the ceiling is not high enough for tall people. On the newer ships some of the conceirge cabins have no star and have a separate tub and shower. The deck plan stars show that certain categories have shower only. Hope that helps.
  8. Yes that is what I was looking for. Thank you!
  9. Do you remember if the shower-only penthouse has a shower line?
  10. Thanks. I see that now in the dress code posted.
  11. Thanks. The only question I would have pertains to the first night on board. How strict are they on the dress code the night of embarkation? if you haven't unpacked can you wear jeans if you wore them to the ship?
  12. Thanks for responding. I wonder why there was no music. Last time we went on Mariner they had music in the lounge every night. I guess al lot has changed since COVID.
  13. Thanks. We'll be on the ship during the same time. Probably see you on board!
  14. Was there no seating in the Mariner Lounge or was there just no drinks or music? Interested to know which PH you were in since we have one in upcoming cruise and one person stated that their PH suite had alot of issues but did not state which one.
  15. Yes that is correct. Smoking on port side in one section of pool area, deck 11 port side near bar and deck 4 port side in one section. No smoking in the back of the ship near Sunset bar.
  16. I'd also be interested in which Penthouse this is since I will be on Mariner soon. Thanks.
  17. Just the suites have no lines or grab bars. Most of the sky suites have a tub and shower combo so no caps that I've seen.
  18. All M class cabins except the revolutionized suite (specifically Summit). There they took out the shower lines and bars in the shower.
  19. Am I missing something here? I never intended it to sound like we went by the statue because of who the Captain was. She happened to be the Captain of our cruise at the time.
  20. When Captain Kate was on the Summit we cruised up to the statue. She turned the ship around so both sides could view it. It was wonderful. We sailed twice with her on Summit when she did this but one time she did not because there were too many boats close to the statue. It was not on our itinerary.
  21. I did not go in those hot tubs so I do not know. All I saw was water going around and the button did not work so I would assume there were not jets working.
  22. I can confirm that as well. We were also on the 6 May cruise and the hot tubs were just like a whirlpool with no bubbles. People commented at times that they were hot but others reported lukeware. The t-pool was hot when we got in but was nice once you got in. However, there were no jets in the t-pool (on the sides) as there was in the past. The rack were still nice with bubbles though.
  23. Just FY, the last two cruises where we were contacted regarding preferences were filled out by us but none of our requests were there when we boarded. Both the cabin attendant and the butler noted what we wanted after boarding but had not received any requests from shoreside prior to our cruise.
