Worked on Anthem the same way, the bands are linked to your room card so it is just the same as using the card.

You need to print them, they are part of the documentation send to you prior to the cruise. About 45 days out if I remember correctly.

Prices change all the time. If you buy and then see it cheaper you can cancel for a refund and buy at the lower price. I got the refreshment package for my daughter for £13 per day it is now at £20 .

Our OBC for Harmony in June 2018 showed as soon as the booking was made and nothing was available to buy then. I would check with Royal.

Bob has the drinks questions covered so with regard to the internet, yes it would be unlimited for one device at a time. You would get one device per package but if you say wanted to use one code on both a phone and a tablet as long as you log out of one you can then log onto the other.

We had no problem using USD just be aware that if you are using larger notes that your change may be in local currency.

I booked on the UK website, am I just being thick or blind, asking for directions.

If you booked direct with Royal you should have the option through the web site, if booked using a TA then you may only be able to make payment through them.

Log onto My Cruises and pick the payments tab then click make payment.

I paid mine off through the cruise planner. Click on the tab for Payments and fill in details there, I had no need to call them.

We were in GS 8006 in April and heard very little noise from the Windjammer, nothing that woke us up. The concierge lounge was a great place to sit and enjoy an evening drink. Ligia and Lucy looked after us very well.

My cruise for next April on Oasis has gone up to close to $2391 for the 2 of us for a cat C2 Central Park balcony with the refundable price. It's $100 less for the NRD with $100 OBC.

 

Price was $1842 in November when I intially booked. No way would i book a C2 for $2391.:eek:

But has it gone up because of the NRD or just because prices change all the time due to supply and demand and what 'Sale' is on at the time.

Here in the UK we never had the option of refundable deposits. Deposit is normally £150 per person, no way of getting price drops either unless you cancel and re-book.

Yes that is correct you will be able to send txt/pics via WApp using the WiFi. I would suggest putting the phone into flight mode and just turn on the WiFi to make sure that no network charges are made. We were on Rhapsody in April and found the connection was OK but could sometimes be a problem to connect to especially in the Schooner bar.

Have you never heard of interest bearing accounts?

Great if you can get one, but here in the UK for example my bank has just changed the interest on my account to 0.1% :eek: not much reason to keep it in the account in my opinion.

If the bar is in CK, as with Oasis class ships, then wine and beer is usually available. The Quantum class does not have a bar so no free wine.[emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]

I thought the free wine and beer from the suite lounge next to CK on Oasis was for GS and above. Since the OP is in a JS I assumed they would not be served, mind you they might get lucky and be offered.

On Anthem last year we were not offered free wine in CK, but the beverage package worked just fine :D

I'm sure I seen that on European sailings the drinking age on the ship was reduced to 18 but best to check with Royal.

Last year we got them free on the Anthem in a Family Junior Suite, they were left in the room for us.

The other person did not say they were on Oasis class where Diamond lounge is on deck 4.

If they were in a suite on Freedom i could understand their delight of being able to get into the much better Diamond lounge.

The OP's original post was asking about Anthem but then they stated in post 3 that they have now booked an OS on Oasis so I would think they would be better off in the suite lounge on deck 17 than the diamond lounge which is on decks 11 &12

We had Ron Lucas as the headliner act on Anthem last year and agree that he is one of the best. I hope that they get the IQ app working better before next June when we are on Harmony.
