When we were on Allure it was my birthday and I was able to get my birthday

award. That was a couple years ago and they may have changed their policy.

We love luggage valet and use it whenever we can.

Is your status updated during the current cruise if you reach the next level on that cruise or is it updated the next cruise ?

We're on that sailing also. Too excited.

Love this post. We leave on the 29th so really counting down and getting impatient for the day to arrive. Of course the cruise will go too fast.:D:D

We have been on both ships. We just were on Brillance 10/13 for Canada/New England cruise. Beautiful ship but smaller than Liberty.

We also prefer the bigger ships. Have been on Liberty & Freedeom and are going on Independence in March. Love this class of ships.

On our October cruise on the Jewel, our headwaiter, Edwin was very helpful and interactive every night. He took orders, served food, cleared tables, did everything every night. We tipped him very well as we did the other waiters, housekeeping, etc. Very well deserved IMO. :D

Had this same issue and got hold of someone who told me how to work around it. (They had a computer upgrade a month ago and having problems with it)

Go to RC website AND DON'T LOG IN.

Go to before you board and to countdown

Enter your res #, date of sailing, ship all manually

Then you should be able to see sailing info

Can't see if log in, etc

I also used my Starbucks card on Allure last year, and even got a gratituous cake pop as it was my birthday. :)

We too were on this cruise. It was my husbands' and my birthdays so we celebrated in style. Enjoyed the whole cruise. Love the ship.

We were at the terminal 10/7 by 1015 and eating our beef sandwich at the Park Cafe by 1130. Had our luggage when we got to our room and everything else for rest of week was smooth sailing. :)

I am counting down days & hours - we leave Sun 10/7 on Allure !! Wohoo !!

On the ship do not use a purse, just carry seapass card and slip

camera in my pocket. Use a small clutch for evenings that have had

for years and many cruises.

On excursions just purchased a crossbody baggallini bag that has many inner & outer pockets (cell phone and pen & notepaper or whatever)

previously had a smaller bag I had gotten at Walmart. (new bag considerably higher, but more serviceable I believe) ;)
