Are concerned with testing positive? We had covid Dec. 1st and are concerning that we could still test positive for our mid Feb cruise.
You won't test positive from a month-old infection if you do an antigen test. With PCR, it can be up to 3 months for some before it shows negative.

What cabin are you in? Wouldn’t want to listen to that. I’ll be in 10162 which is a large balcony. Once on the Anthem I was in a JS & also heard that. Have to go back through my records to see that cabin location.

Our friend has a cabin at the very front of the ship and he said it's really rocking and rolling up there. We can't feel any of it from our cabin. But I can hear toilets flushing left and right, up and down. Time to dig out the ear plugs.

Our room steward has been great so far! He's friendly and made sure we have everything we need. We requested an extra mattress topper and I'm glad we did! We also requested extra pillows and he did not mess around with that request - he sure did get us some pillows! He also suggested extra towels since I have very long hair and I thought that was great.
He said the room next to us was supposed to be occupied as of this morning. But they didn't make it. I feel bad for them but at the same time, it means a bit less worry about noise for us. You can hear the TVs through the walls.

We went to the Bionic Bar before dinner and tried to create some of our own cocktails. That was a bit of fun but fizzled out after about 30 minutes since things were running out or missing. The selection of ingredients was limited to begin with and would probably skip it if we didn't have a drink package.
We had dinner in Silk for My Time. Nobody was seated near us at all. Our waiter, assistant waiter and the second head waiter were extremely attentive and glad to have us there. My husband loves Indian food, so they will be bringing us a couple of Indian dishes every night we go to the MDR. Unfortunately, the only photo I took was of my first cocktail. I'll try to be better about that! The food is what you would expect from a typical cruise ship dining room. It was not bad at all! But I don't think I am a good person to judge the food, as we are huge foodies, I'm an avid home cook, we live in the center of an incredible food city, and frequent some of the best rated restaurants in the world. So unless something is VERY good or very bad, I probably won't really comment on the taste. Admittedly, I also love deep fried junk food so I may rave about those items 😁
My cocktail was the Caribbean Mule and that was pretty tasty.
The next three nights, we will be doing specialty dining. First Wonderland, followed by Jamie's and then Chops.

Do you know yet what ports you will be able to dock at?
We probably won't know until closer to docking in each port. I'm quite certain there will be no issues with St Maarten since they will be doing maintenance there and they've been accepting most ships, even with sick crew.

Have a wonderful cruise. If you can find out it would be great if you could share the number of passengers onboard.
I keep hearing 2000 from other pax but I'll see if I can find out for certain from the C&A desk.

Thanks Bahathree.
That would be great but, it looks like the February 20 & 27 cruise will be dry dock casualties.

No worries, captain said they will be completing the fix in SXM.

The captain made an announcement that they've done some repairs on the azipod but it still needs work. We will be slow going to St Maarten but he said they will complete the fix while we are in port there and then we will be sailing again like normal.

PIPER, Thanks so much for the updates!! Do you know who the cover band for the music hall is for your cruise yet?
It seems to be High Voltage! in the Music Hall. Are they a cover band?

I'll be following your journey closely this week. We're scheduled to fly in from Arizona on the 19th for the next sailing. Still on the fence about cancelling.
Let me know if there's anything specific you need to know! I hope things stay on track so your cruise goes off without a hitch!

I forgot to mention, muster was extremely easy. We watched the video and listened to the horn in-app while waiting in line for check-in. Before we headed to Two70, we stopped by our muster station at Vintages to scan our set sail passes and we were go to go!

Unfortunately, no compiled list of entertainment in the cabin. And the app seems to list everything individually so would be difficult to compile. But I will post the cruise compass every day. If there's a particular show you are interested in, let me know and I'll give you the details.
We Will Rock You:
DAY 3 - 2:30PM and 8PM
DAY 6 - 8PM
Family Spectra:
DAY 4 - 7PM
Spectra's Cabaret (12+):
DAY 2 - 7PM and 9:15PM
DAY 4 - 9:15PM

If possible can you please post entertainment schedule for the 11 nights. Thank you.
Is there one spot I can go to find a listing of all showtimes in one place or will I need to compile from several places? Sorry, not a regular RCCL cruiser.

Port workers have started pulling people out of line based on their originally assigned check-in time and sorting us into more lines.

-
Port workers are running down the line looking for suite guests and those that need covid tests now. We've made it around one corner of the terminal so it's not going too slow so far.
-
We arrived at the port at our new check-in time, 12:30. The line goes all the way around the terminal building. There's only one line, no signage and can't find anyone that works here.
It seems the issue is people showed up when they felt like it, even though RCCL told us not to arrive until one hour past our assigned check in times. I talked to people at the front that have been here since 10am. 😑 The line is slowly moving now.

We are at the port now no one has been allowed to enter the terminal. The line goes around the entire terminal building. We're hoping there isn't an issue with sailing.

In the wee hours of the morning, we started to feel the rough seas from our cabin. I sent a text to my friend and he said it was very rough up front at that point. We're still feeling it a whole lot this morning.
