Are these available nationwide or just select cities. Can   you use this for the 3 day pre cruising antigen test? need the proctored test with printable varification.

Nationwide as it is online similar to the eMed/Navica testing.  Several folks have posted on John H's page and in other groups that I am in that they have done this without issue.

Slightly off the subject but just a reminder that you can again order another 8 FREE Covid home test kits from the US Postal Service.  Go to USPS.com and type Covid tests on the search line or just do a web search.  They are not a substitute for verifiable pre-cruise testing but can be taken with you to self-test on a cruise or when your return.  Stay safe.

There are services out there such as OnPoint and others where you pay a nominal fee ($15 to $20) for video/telehealth appointment and use whatever test you already have.

  3. Back from our cruise last Saturday. Was mortified when I weighed myself on Sunday as the scale said I gained 17lbs... Weighed myself again on Monday and it said I was down 9lbs so at least I know it is mostly water weight. Weighed in again this morning and down another 3lbs so all in all I only really gained 5lbs on our cruise but even with that I am still under the weight I originally set as my cruise goal so I will take it. Back on my routine now to lose the remaining weight I want gone. Should be booking our next cruise in the next few weeks.

  4. Hi Everyone,

Have I told you guys about the behind kicker treadmills at the gym? You can set them on something akin to walking straight uphill, like a mountain and go as fast as you want. Really burns the calories.

I usually set the treadmill to random level 14 with a starting speed of 4.2 then I do 2 minute intervals every 4 minutes between 6.5 and 8.5 for 20 to 30 minutes depending on if I am going to do the elliptical that day as well. Typically I burn between 450 and 700 calories each time.

  5. I am a smoker and when i started my weight loss journey I could barely do a mile on the treadmill in 45 minutes or so. Obviously quitting smoking would be the best way, but if you aren't ready for that yet interval training would be the next best option. I recently started it a few weeks ago and I can already tell the difference as my resting heart rate has gone down another 4 beats a minute. A good easy work your way in to it is something like the Couch to 5k workout.

  6. My DW and I like to dress up from time to time as we don't get to do it very often so I will wear a suit and DW just bought a beautiful retro gown to wear on the first formal night for our upcoming cruise and we will also dress up a bit for our 25th anniversary dinner in the steakhouse the following a night.
