Thanks everyone, been reading the live post on here, sounds great, Just wanted to know a little more about the ship. Always have had great cruises with HAL and looking forward to sailing on the ship, it has a fabulous itinerary with several new ports which are hard to find now a days. Has the Oosterdam been recently updated? Wondering about the ocean view cabins F large, looked at pictures on a site, some pictures look good but a couple pics look very dated. Pretty sure it has to be updated, just about to become 4 star on this cruise, never having cruised on her before though and would like to hear how the cabins are and any other info that may be interesting, Thank you

Thanks everyone! Know what you mean talking about lido pizza, not very good at all in my opinion . Forgot about the taco bar we have enjoyed eating this when it’s fresh and busy. I like pizzas though, have been on a few ships that have pizza places in the back that you can have fixed the you want, really enjoy that. Everyone have a very Happy New Year 🎊🎆

Oh, did not know this! This will be our first cruise with NCL except for the cruise we did probably 20 years ago on the Pride of America in Hawaii. Thanks everyone for info I didn’t realize, if anyone has anything else that could be useful let me know. Leave first of May for Ireland.

Thanks Pete, We do have on board credit, just enough for tips and a few cans! Cruise Princess a lot and they let you bring drinks on board but being elite I get free mini bar setups that I change for all can diet cokes,

Knowing we can not bring sodas on board, wondering how much can sodas are? I drink two a day and rather have can drinks instead of fountain drinks, don’t drink alcohol and I’ve always used the ships water that has always been fine with me. Thanks Debbie

It’s been a few years since we have been to Australia, can’t remember if Australia allows snacks from America to be with us in our luggage. Snacks such as crackers, nuts and candy all in their wrappers from the store. Hoping Covid isn’t giving everyone problems! thank you Debbie

Thanks Luv2travel, you have made me feel much better, we are very casual. We also chose Azamara for the itineraries which have ports that we have never been, other cruises have the same itineraries over and over. We never bring dress clothes just casual, was sort of afraid ship might be more formal. Thanks so much and if you have any more info let me know. We are also on Pursuit! Debbie

We are so looking forward to our first cruise on Azamara, after sailing with Princess, Hollland America and Celebrity. We are definitely buffet people and wondering if buffets are open during morning, lunch and dinner mealtimes. I believe there are two casual places to eat? The review on here about the Pursuit is very interesting and looks lovely. Thank you for any info you have for the ship if Azamara is different from the cruise lines I have mentioned above. We are on our first Azamara cruise which is going to Egypt and Israel!! we have a tour going to see pyramids with a lunch on the river Nile which sounds amazing. I’ve read do not drink Egypt’s water or have ice even fresh fruit. We are a little weary about eating the lunch, does anyone else worry about eating in foreign countries? Don’t want to be a snob but want our family to stay well. thank you, Debbie

Will Azamara get visa for you when you cruise to Egypt? I believe we do not need visa for Israel, is this right? thanks so much Debbie

I have never heard of the pre-paid beverage card, this might be something I am interested in. I just need two cans of Diet Coke a day and a beverage package will not work for me. Any info would be appreciated Thanks

Cruising in Egypt in November, do we need visa for Egypt and Israel? Saw something that Egypt requires visa but can not find any info about it on Azamara site. If so does Azamara purchase it for us ? Thank you

Didn’t know about testing when CDC says you can test positive for up to 90 days. When I first received the DOC I didn’t think I would have to worry about another test. Thanks for the answers
