Yes, Serenade is still in dock.  It looks like her next cruise is on the West Coast on 4/26, so not sure when she is scheduled off the dock.  Unless there is someone local to PC who can see if there is equipment staged near Escape to indicate whether repairs are underway.

Do you have any insight on why another week has been cancelled? At this point I'm wondering if they even plan to sail out of PC at all.

  2. I know the motto is "you get what you get so don't throw a fit" but my flight reservation is carrraaazzzyyyyy and it of course is too late to cancel the airline package.  Looks like I'm out the $250 and will have to just book other flight accommodations.

Has this happened to any one else? What did you do?

I will be in 18100 on the Joy in January 2022.  I've been reading all these comments and am still on the fence about tipping the butler.  I was thinking maybe I give some money every day?  Thoughts?

I’ll be in the Haven Jan 15. I was also thinking maybe I tip day 1 and day 6?

what kind of things can you ask your butler to do?

  4. How long was the taxi ride there? I am torn between Orient and Mullet.

I’m having the same delema. I’ll be there the second week of April and want to be able to relax with an umbrella and a chair and access to food and beverages. However, I don’t want a big crowd surrounding us.

  5. Mine held up great. I've worn crochets on multiple cruises and never had any issues. I only washed it on beach days or the very few times I got into the pool. If my hair didn't get wet at the beach or in the pool, I just sprayed it with my water/conditioner mixture when I got out of bed.

As for drying, I would absorb some of the moisture by towel drying then allow it to air dry.

Sorry for so many questions and thank you for taking the time to answer them for me ❤️❤️

  6. If you were arriving in Orlando earlier I would say stay in Orlando, rent a car, and drive yourself to port. We found a deal on a rental that we are picking up on International Drive and dropping off at Port Canaveral. However, you're sailing out the next day so it may be wise to stay at a hotel near the port (maybe Cocoa Beach) and shuttle over in the morning.
