  1. Full disclosure... I boarded the ship with one self-imposed requirement, and that was to behave on night 1 because of our Meet & Greet responsibilities on day 2. Fail.

I don’t recall what was posted and what wasn’t... but boys behaved badly last night and I woke up to chipper Sue running off to fetch coffee while I attempted to peel the upper and lower sections of my mouth apart.

Speaking of which, I pre-ordered 24-liters of water in an attempt to “prevent hangovers”. If I have water in my cabin, I’ll drink it out of self-preservation. Well, my water never arrived, so I blame NCL for my rude awakening this morning.

It’s now taken a visit to guest services and a call to double-zero to resolve, and I returned to my cabin tonight to find...

Anybody able to count that up to 24? I’ve tried a few times and keep coming up short.

It looks like 2 bottles are tucked behind the champagne bottles. That would make 24.

  2. Another cruise we will be in the room next door. 10658! Looks like a great location.

Your room is next to 10660, on the right. Here's a photo of our balcony taken from one floor above, and you can see your balcony next door. If you look to the left, there's some sort of apparatus attached to the ship, but it doesn't obscure the view at all. (I attached the photo).

  3. You mentioned you were in an Aft Balcony on deck 10. What room and any photos available? We are cruising the Pearl in an Aft deck 10 room 10168.

Sent from my iPad using Forums

We were in room 10660, which is a side balcony room toward the aft of the ship.

  4. So, the week after you get off the ship is not the time to ask the ship to adjust the temperature of the water. And if you were really that unhappy, the ship would have refunded your spa pass or given you a discount. Kinda late to be complaining now.

The OP asked "Is thermal spa pass worth it?" It was my experience that it was not. I'm not "kinda late complaining", I'm replying to a CC question!

  5. Hi everyone!

Do any of you know if the Thalassotherapy pool is heated or the water is cold?

    Dukemstr

On the Pearl last week, both the thellassotherapy pool and the "hot tub" were barely luke warm. There were groups of people congregated together in the pools that carried on loud conversations. It sounded like a high school locker room. It's hard to read while relaxing on the loungers, with dim overhead lights. There was a TV on the women's side that was never turned off. There was no relaxing background music. The only saving grace were the heated tile loungers (yay, finally something warm!), but they can be hard to come by on a sea day when everyone's on board. Yes, the big mouths eventually leave, and the tile loungers aren't always occupied, but the tepid water was always tepid. Worst money I ever spent.

  6. Yes!!! When I was having dinner at a specialty restaurant on the Getaway, there was a couple with 2 small children. The 3 year old wailed and cried literally at the top of his lungs for the entire dinner. The parents did nothing to comfort or quiet him. Everyone was getting up and moving to another table. I think the staff was at a loss of what to do, aside from moving people. Maybe it's in the culture of this couple to let the kid "cry it out", who knows what their mindset was, but they ruined, for everyone, what should have been a relaxing meal. I blame the parents in this case, but at that time, a kid-free cruise would have been heavenly.
