All of us on these boards are only speculating...our rhetoric holds absolutely no water,  sooooo, .....maybe we should just be a little more patient and see how the vaccines change things.  Remember all the unfounded hysteria over the speculation of getting a doctor to certify that cruisers had no pre-existing conditions....that was certainly a moot point!

We were on the Crown in Oct 2019..several of us booked it as 2B2B...we got our 2nd set-up on turn around afternoon.  Upon returning from dinner we all found out it had been removed!!!   complained all the way up the chain of command and were told NO..NO...NO...only one set-up if you don’t disembark....really???  That was not the way it was previous to that cruise, but got tired of banging my head against the counter at passenger services so gave up🤬🥴

It’s definitely cruise by cruise because one of ours has the sale and the other  one doesn't...the one with the sale went up over $500..no thanks, I’ll keep my old booking😁

We loved it...you will be going from morning til night but it covered everything we wanted to see and then some.  Worth every penny!

Saying that masks will be mandatory for a very long time is conjecture (let’s hope)...many of us will not cruise if there is a mask order in place.  There are very very few cases of reinfection, so making those people and ones with antibodies wear masks is going to eliminate a significant group of cruisers.  If you are one of the hypersensitive people who needs to be cautious, cruising is probably not a good fit

don't know why you said masks are spotty in Phoenix when they are mandatory to enter any enclosed space here

Has anyone been able to use part of their their FCC as a deposit for a future cruise?

If you are willing to roll the dice about getting your refund - go for it!  Some of us that waited more than 6 months, had to file credit card disputes, and still don’t have our FCC settled correctly would be just a bit hesitant 🥴

I just called my PVP and she transferred it over to a new booking..showed up in 30 minutes

We have done 7 cruise tours with Princess...all of them had exceptional hotels...asia, australia, south america, egypt, israel, europe, africa...be sure to take a carry-on to use as your suitcase on the cruise tour section as they will store your big bags until you get on the ship ( no big bags allowed on the land portion).  They do a great job with food and hotels while on land!

If you go in May, you cant always get into the fjords due to ice

yes——--american will upgrade—-call american after your reservation has been ticketed by princess...after you pay your cruise in full then call princess and they will then ticket your easy air

If masks are required there will be a significant number of us looking for a different type of vacation...hopeful for a vaccine that will let us cruise again

our excursions were recharged then credited back in pieces the next week...it was a real mess (didn’t need to be since it was charged all at one time). It will be a miracle if all this ever gets sorted out!
