The lagoonarium is privately owned  .... we usually drive there and then they take you from the main island to the motu where the lagoonarium is located on their boat. You might ask the owner if there is anyone that provides transportation to their facility or a group tour which includes transportation.

Thanks for the information.  I will contact them.

  3. Our experience with Joe Banana Limo Tours was EXCELLENT!  We went with a "shared group" from Naples cruise port to the Amalfi Coast.  The transportation wasn't in a limo but a nice van, the size of our group was 7 people.  One of the things that I liked about Joe Banana is that you can join a "shared group" from your cruise ship and the cost is less.  Our tour guide/driver was phenomenal, lots of knowledge and expertise of the area.  Some of the people on our Amalfi Coast tour had taken a Joe Banana Tour in Rome and loved it too. I would highly recommend Joe Banana Limo Tours!

  4. For those who have been to Kotor before, please give me some insight on which of these two excursions I should take........Sure would appreciate help in deciding........Best of Montenegro ......"A perfect combination of sights and flavors is yours to experience today. Take a scenic drive towards the mountain village of Njegusi. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay of Kotor from above. Drive through winding mountain roads with interesting rock formations. Sample some local specialties of Njegusi during your stop at restaurant. Follow your guide through Cetinje, the old Royal Capital of Montenegro. Visit the Court of King Nikola Petrovic. It now houses the National Museum of Cetinje, displaying valuable collections.  Enjoy some free time, to explore this lovely town on your own. Stop to catch the magnificent views overlooking the “Riviera of Budva” and the open Adriatic coastline. Back to Kotor, you’ll enjoy a walking tour of the old town, a cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a beautiful example of the different cultural influences that have left their mark here. Stroll the streets of the historical center, learn about its history and enjoy the atmosphere."  Or.......Kotor, Persat and Our Lady of the Rock......"Between dramatic cliffs and the sparkling waters of Boka Kotorskam, you’ll find the towns of Kotor and Perast, each with a charm of their own. This amazing landscape was created 300,000 years ago by tectonic forces and is part of UNESCO’s list of protected natural sites. A short scenic drive on the inner part of the bay, full of contrasts, takes you to Perast. This easternmost shore was the earliest inhabited area in the Boka, as evidenced by archaeological finds. The town reached its peak in the 18th century under the Republic of Venice. At that time, ornate baroque palaces and magnificent houses were constructed. Walk the quaint streets of this town full of typical Venetian architecture.  Visit the cathedral of St. Nikola, a beautiful example of Venetian-Romanesque style. The two small islands in front of Perast offer an impressive view, each of them with a picturesque chapel. Sail to one of these islands, and visit the Church of Our Lady of the Rock and learn of its legend. Most of the present day church was erected after the great earthquake of 1667 when the original sanctuary was destroyed. You’ll find a collection of paintings and a beautifully embroidered tapestry made by a local lady, among its treasures. Once back in Kotor, you’ll continue on a walking tour of the town with its historical buildings and delightful streets.

  5. We will be in Santorini (tender) on the NCL Star on Saturday, May 18th, from 2 p.m.-10 p.m.  Sunset is @ 8:20 that day.  I was wondering if we will be able to see the sunset aboard the cruise ship.  We are taking a ship excursion to Oia from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m., being dropped off at the cable car in Fira at the end of the tour.  If we can view the sunset from our ship, we would just get in line for the cable car after the tour ended.  But will we be missing the sunset by doing this?  Or should we just make a reservation at a restaurant or taverna in Fira (close to the cable car) to watch the sunset?  Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

  6. Our NCL cruise disembarks in Venice on May 24.  We are being told that there are no NCL excursions there, just a transfer to Marco Polo Airport..........I was wondering if anyone knows of a tour company that will pick us up at the cruise ship terminal (with our luggage) and take us on a tour of Venice before transferring us to our hotel by the airport later on that day.  Or could you give us suggestions on what we should do.  Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

  7. We are considering one of these excursions for our May 2019 cruise port Dubrovnik, either the Cable Car and walking tour of Dubrovnik, or a Tuk Tuk Panoramic Ride and Old Town. Was wondering how crowded the cable car experience is (we are in port 7 am to 1 pm).....is the crowds anything like the long lines and waiting time like Santorini? Would love some insight on these excursions please.

  8. We have a choice of combining Kotor with one of these other villages, Budva or Perast and need your opinion on which to choose. We are not interested in going to the beach but thought the old town of Budva would be nice to through, but the pictures we've seen of Perast is quite picturesque too, so I am torn on which to choose and need your help. Thanks for your opinion.
