May I ask what port you’re referring to? It may differ by ports. Thanks!
It was for all the ports on this cruise (Cozumel Belize Mahogany Bay), it is fleet wide per guest services. Hopefully this changes soon, it seems pretty silly at this point.

Just got off a Spring break cruise and stayed in 2450...the lounge was quiet, but there were LOTS of cabins with just kids/teens in them and some were very noisy (like nightclub until 2am noisy). We haven't experienced this before, but be mindful of booking times where more kids will be sailing.

Well since it seems to be that it’s up to the individual ports, I checked each one and they all say that unvaccinated travelers under 12 are exempt, so that means we can take the baby off the ship.
Thanks for your help everyone!

Just got off the Vista this morning with our 19 month old, had to book a Carnival excursion to take her off the ship.

If it was a third party site, they've likely booked a block of rooms as an agency. VIFP rates do not generally apply in this case.
-
If you book in advance, you can now choose the day. Most recently (on the Dream in December and Radiance in January) we were told they will hold it every night if they have enough bookings. Each seating is very limited, so they can fill quickly.

We've been twice since the restart, on Dream and Breeze. In both instances it was one dinner table.

We were on this one, too! So wild how empty the ship was, but it was nice to have room and rarely any lines. Also, the ship turned out absolutely gorgeous!

Are you trying to get the GC or cruise cash to purchase cheers once onboard? It's a better deal, if you're planning ahead to just purchase Cheers before you board at the "discounted" rate.

I don't love the sugar straws *except* in Pina colada. For some reason it makes it better for me (maybe it just prolongs the drink as I wait for the next in the casino?). I travel with the silicone straws and have no issues. They are foldable and bendy and I'm not afraid of chipping a tooth like with the metal ones. If the metal ones are your jam, I'd suggest the silicone tips 🙂

We had a great time last month with our 16 month old and three older kids. The crib is as described and yes, there are covid related policies that limit what there is to do even further for that age. That said we had lots of great family time and our littlest and the dining room staff had a blast with each other.

Have you tried your regular doctor's office? We've had some good luck with that fairly recently with same day results. Also I agree with checking with your roll call, or even the following for other locals who might have a spare. We got our eMed tests the second day, but I know that's not everyone's experience--perhaps you could order now and "swap" with someone on a later sail date?

On the Dream a couple weeks ago it was enforced in certain venues, not all areas had the policy. Areas that did included the casino, ocean plaza, piano bar, and main theatre. I suspect the other lounges also had this policy but we didn't check them out. The MDR, buffet, chef's table, and steakhouse we were fine to be maskless at the table. I was asked to pull up my mask once outdoors, in a short line at Guy's burgers.

All of my legal documents *except* my passport are my married name (for the last 4 years and 7 cruises). I take my DL, passport, and marriage license. I always point out that they don't match, but they've never actually asked to see the marriage license.

Bought the pass for an October 2018 7 day sailing, so it's been a bit, but I don't believe any major updates have been made to the sa facilities since then. I found it to be very tiny overall. The hot tub was generally crowded when I went, though not so much as the ones on deck. It was sometimes difficult to get a lounger as well.

Woot! Have a wonderful time 🙂

While I didn't love the layout/flow of the Vista, it didn't really feel crowded. I did love staying in Family Harbor.

That's a Coke product. Maybe he can develop a taste for Mr. Pibb which is a Pepsi product. I've done it in a pinch and they both contain prune juice! 🙂
Mr. Pibb is a Coke brand

I'm actually thrilled about the change, more for the Bubly and teas. I like Diet Pepsi better than Diet Coke, but I drink both...that said, Diet Coke never tasted quite right on the ships anyway.

It was last week on the Vista, so likelySomeone said in a thread here from several months ago that the smaller Reflections dining room was for assigned dining while they were in Europe earlier in the year. Is this true, or did they reverse it after coming stateside from Europe?Sent from my KFDOWI using Forums mobile app

Looking forward to reading your review! Including your pre-cruise activities. We will be cruising on the Vista out of Galveston next year. It will be our first time cruising out of that port, so I will be looking for restaurant and hotel recommendations.

Cheers 15 drink limit
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
15 can be super easy and, if spread through the day, leave you barely tipsy. You *can* extend your drinks by purchasing (outright, no using Cheers) anytime before your 15th and they won't count against you, but once you hit 15 (count is displayed on receipt from 10 on) they won't sell to you at all.
